McDermott 75-JNTEXT 4-inch 3/8 x 10 Joint Extension Pool Cue Stick Extender

I have a McDermott pool cue butt and a McDermott Defy Carbon Fiber shaft. This McDermott Extension fits my cue perfectly! I am 6’5” tall and my hand is now in the middle of the wrap on the cue. I do not notice any wobble when rolling the assembled cue on my dining room table. The extension weighs 2.7 ounces. I removed the 3 ounce weight from the butt end of my cue so the total weight is the same. The extension has a great look with shiny black finish. Very happy.

It fit perfect first time on a G series with a Defy shaft. Looks goods. Im 6’3 and it feels more comfortable to shoot with. It’s heavy, it’s close to 3 ounces. It’s easy to change the weight bolt so not really a big deal. I’m dropping drop to a 1 Oz or even 0.5 Oz weight in the back.

This is extension fit very nicely with my McDermott pool cue. Diameter of the shaft fit perfectly with the extension installed. The only reason for 3 stars is my order arrived late which is indicative of Amazon purchases nowadays.

I do not like this product. I have a lucky 11 mcdermott. And a g series mcdermott. With g core shaft. The extension worked for my lucky stick but not my g core shaft. I mean it eventually went on after u have to muscle it but it goes on with ease on my lucky stick. N I no longer shoot with lucky stick

I’ll admit my pin had some dirt in the grooves, but cleaning that only helped slightly. Had to chase the threads on the female side for it to go onto the threads of my G229 butt. Even after that, it’s a really tight fit, but the male part of the extension fits my G Core shaft perfectly. With a little work, it’s okay. Wished they made an 8” joint with extension; I’m 6’5”. No issues with wobble when rolling or fit at the butt/shaft joint. Balances well being at the joint. G229 was 18.7 prior, 23.2 after but still plays light.
