Plains Knife Sheaths

This a wonderful book for those interested in making a beaded knife sheath. The illustrations are terrific, and an amazing variety of beaded sheaths are shown. Many important construction questions are answered. Photographs include many old time knives.That being said, I wish a few more pages had been included regarding tack sheaths and quill sheaths.

Excellent book on making beaded knife sheaths. The best I have found so far. Every aspect is covered in explicit detail with excellent photos and illustrations. With descriptions and patterns typical of many different tribes and regions. Displays the many options for creating your own. I foresee myself referring back to this book constantly.

This is a very good design and construction manual for making your own Plains Indian Knife Sheathes. The pictures are good sized and easy to understand. This is not a manual on beading though, and most of the sheathes are beaded.

Rated 4 stars as the book isn't bad, just not what I wanted. Would not have bought if I looked at in a store but not worth returning. Glance at it once a year when I organize my books and so far haven't put in the donated pile yet but would not purchase again.

Wonderful booklet with nice photos, very very good drawings and very good and helpful tutorials. The knife sheaths are just fantastic. An admirable initiative of the author and Crazy Crow Trading Post.

Está muy bien detallado, con dibujos muy bien hechos por cierto, todo a color, a penas hace falta leer, es muy intuitivo, buen trabajo

Le livre est plutôt léger en pagination,le texte est en anglais mais la mise en page et les plans sont claires et bien faits, avec une belle partie historique. Un outil simple et efficace pour qui s'intéresse au sujet

Leider nur in Englisch zu kaufen,trotzdem gute Anleitungen da auch viele Bilder drin sind :-)Ich würde es weiter empfehlen.
