Front Facing Camera under license plate
I installed this NATIKA 720P camera as a front facing camera on my Tacoma. The camera controller I used is a Germes Lab controller from Car Solutions. I mounted the camera under my license plate frame (see first picture). I needed have a better view of what is directly in front of the truck, so if I go off road, I would like to see rocks or other obstacles that I will be driving over and position the front tires accordingly. This camera model is easily adjusted to how close or far away from the camera shows in front of the truck (see second picture). Other more stationary camera models would be much more difficult to get the camera pointed where I want it.There was one tricky part of installing the camera. The camera has two connectors, one for the power and one for the RCA video wire (see fourth picture). The power connector must have the 12V center of connector powered for the camera to work. The red extra wire on the video wire by itself is not connected to anything (see third picture). I needed to drill a hole in my front bumper for the video wire, but did not want to have the hole larger for a separate power wire. Also, you don’t want to connect the power connector directly to your battery, always having the camera powered on, because it draws around 20 mA which could drain your battery when vehicle is parked. The Car Solutions controller has a 12V wire to power the camera when needed (not powered all the time), so I connected that to the video wire’s red wire inside the truck. On the camera side, it works to just connect the red video wire to the center power connector. Fortunately, the camera is grounded through the RCA video wire and I didn’t need to run the second power wire to ground the camera.Pros:Adjustable mount is handy to adjust the camera to point close or far away. The resolution is very good and works well in the dark.Cons:Needed to discover how to power the camera on using the single red wire on video wire

Exactly what I needed.
Shipping took way longer than it should've for "Prime 2 day" it took like a week. But nots not the sellers fault. On top of that I had a little bit of trouble getting it to work with my Pioneer AVH310EX. I asked for help via the Amazon questions and the seller was very quick to respond with a 9 point list of things to look over. Sure enough, one of the points on the list stated "please do not use wire clamps"....which is what I had done. So I spliced the wires properly instead of doing it the lazy way. Added wire to the ground wire so I could put it in a better spot, and I had to try multiple rca inputs on my stereo (if you have an avh310ex, plug the rca into the brown plug, not the yellow) and then it finally worked! Picture looks just a little bit grainy but nothing worse than any oem camera I've seen on higher end vehicles. That being said, this camera is well worth the money. It has a strong sturdy build, which surprised me when I took it out of the box. It seems to be all metal, not some cheap plastic case like most cameras have.

Highly recommended
Update: (12/2019)Backup camera still works perfectly. Crystal clear. Being through heavy rains and car washes.Update:After about 7 months using this backup camera, I’m still amazed in the wide angle and clarity both day and night. The wide angle had helped to see people walking toward the back of the car. It had been through many rainy days without any issues.I’ve used many different brands before but this one I would highly recommend. The camera itself is sturdy. It feels heavier and better quality than other brands I’ve used.Original review:I used a cheap backup camera on my car previously but after a while the it started to become blurry. So I was hesitant to get a cheap backup camera again. After doing some research, I came across this Natika backup camera on amazon. This camera matched the criteria that I was looking for so I gave it a try. This camera has very wide angle view. I could see people walking by my car (not directly behind) when I was about to back up. Much wider view and safer this way. (Last backup camera I had it only shows the ground and covers just the width of the car.)The camera’s angles are adjustable with screws.Image quality is very nice. I was surprised how much better it is comparing to the $15 camera I had before.(The pixels in images attached showing backing up are due to my low quality display screen. I need to upgrade the display soon. So it has nothing to do with the Natika camera.)Night vision quality is excellent. Again, I’m sure it would be even better after I change the display screen. The bracket that holds the backup camera is considered lower profile which helps to make it less visible comparing to other brands.Lastly two years warranty provides peace of mind.

Great little camera used on Jeep spare tire
Bought this to replace a camera that I installed in my Jeep bumper. I wanted something to mount with the spare tire to get a better view. This is a terrific little camera that installed easily using a spare tire mounting "ring." The field of vision is very wide - which would be put to better use with a mount that stuck out a little further as it puts a black ring around the picture now. (This is NOT the camera's fault at all but is something for buyer's to be aware of when deciding on field of view.)I ended up removing the mounting bracket and flipping it so the mount was on bottom. This is easy to do and allows the camera to be flipped BUT...the screws are minuscule and stripped easily. I ended up going to ACE and getting stainless hardware to replace the screws that are used. I had to "self tap" these into the housing - which made me a bit nervous but worked well. Taking off a star overall and two on installation for the stripped housing.Great camera and most folks will not run into the issues that I did. I would not hesitate to buy again.

It does the job
This is an ok backup camera. the wide view is nice. But the camera's picture quality is not great specially at night. It has a night mode that does not work properly. The visibility at night is terrible. But at daytime is ok.
