Ahead Rock drumsticks
These are probably the best sticks I have ever used. I was turned on to Ahead sticks after seeing Peter Criss and Matt Sorum using them. I did some research on these sticks and found out they were made by Easton, the same company that makes hunting bows and baseball bats. I tried a pair of the 5B Ahead sticks, and I thought they were good. A little heavy, but good. I decided I liked them, and bought these kind. When I got them, I instantly fell in love with them. These kind feel as light as wood sticks to me, and they perform very nicely. The only difference that I have noticed with these sticks are that they seem to make my drums a little louder, but maybe that's just me. In short, these sticks are great sticks, they will last for a long, long time, and is deffinatly worth the price you pay.

Not a bad stick for the right person
I played on these for a while to give a good honest review. I’ve owned these since November 2021 (currently feb 2022) and finally had a stick break. I came back to buy a second set (I will be trying the speed metal 11j this time though)The goodExtreme durability (I play hard 2hr a day 5+ days a week)Well balancedLarge handle for a better grip for my meat handed friends.Decent reboundConsheaviest drumstick I’ve ever held (I broke two cymbals with them so far, but I’m also heavy handed)Slippery (even worse when wet)(sorry sweaty handed folk)Although replaceable the tips break off. And if you don’t catch it in time it will ruin the threads making those replacement tips uselessSince they have lasted my as long as they did. I will be purchasing a second set. Just not this size. Hopefully it will be slightly lighter.

These sticks are awesome. I know this sounds strange but they seem to increase the tones of the drum heads. If you are tired of breaking your wood sticks, get at least one pair to try them out and you will not go back to wood sticks.

Great Power drumsticks
OK, I have to be honest–these are a bit heavier than the Pro-Mark Oak 747s that I used to use, and it took me a little time to acclimate to using a heavier stick, but that time has now come and gone. I tried several different pair of Ahead sticks before settling on these, the Rock model. I have the Maxums, the Tommy Lee Signature Studio, which is identical to the Rock stick, just a bit longer–maybe 3/8"(?) The Rock stick had the short taper cover and I really like the balance and weight of it. I play quite a bit of material that calls for 16 note patterns on the hi-hats, and that was eating up the Pro Marks at an astonishing rate! The polyurethane covers really stand up much better and the note articulation is more pronounced using these sticks. In addition, you get a much more present feel and response–they truly are a 'Power' drumstick–I love them!

Good Sticks.
These are great sticks! I go through a pair of stick almost every week (even the shira kashi oak sticks that are supposed to be ultra durable) so a pair of titanium sticks was a very attractive prospect. Now that I have them, I love them! Their durable and heavy on the front end so I expend less energy per stroke, but still get the power. I highly recommend them!
