We bought this to block access to a rug that was becoming a favorite spot for one of our elderly dogs to relieve herself. It's sturdy, build solidly, and pretty heavy - not easily moved, at least by our old guys who weigh about 50 lbs each. The doorway measures 72" and this 80" 4-panel gate is the perfect width. Easily covers the doorway space with enough length left to stabilize the free-standing design. I wasn't sure I would like the metal rods inside the wooden frame since I was originally looking for all wood, but they actually add to the overall beauty and rich-appearance of the gate. Was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. Really pleased with this purchase.

This is by far the best dog gate I have ever bought and I have tried many of them. This comes fully assembled with strong, not flimsy, hinges. It is very sturdy and looks very nice. I like it so much that I just bought another one for another part of my house.

After trying various tall “baby gates”to keep my dogs from my office area, I decided to give this one a try. SPECTACULAR!!! It is very well made, easy to maneuver, heavy enough to keep 4 dogs where they belong, and doesn’t detract from the design of my living room/office area. Can’t say enough positive about it. FINALLY something that works very well and looks outstanding!The above is my first review. Since that time I’ve purchased three additional - 3 four panel and 1 three panel. They’ve made life here much easier as the gates are study yet easy to move when necessary. The absolute answer!!!

Bought this to use between stone columns on front porch so that dogs could sit outside without our having to worry about their escaping. Both dogs have respected the boundary. Our being outside has been much more enjoyable. We fold it up when we’re not using it.

Pretty gate. I like that it’s not anchored anywhere and we move it from smaller confine for nighttime when we don’t want her roaming the family room to blocking off the upstairs of the house during the day. However my dog managed to maneuver out of the gate multiple times and we couldn’t figure out how. Eventually we found out she was using her snout to move the edge flap out. The gate is nice but if you have a smart dog they will figure a way out of it unless you tuck both sides in behind walls or other furniture they can’t move

I wanted this gate for two purposes. One is for blocking the steps to our porch so that we can sit on the porch with our dog but not worry that she will go chase the neighbor's cat. The second purpose is for blocking our inside stairs to prevent falls by children. The gate works great for both purposes. Here are some details about the gate:First, this dog gate arrived in superlative shape. The packing materials kept the gate from being damaged during shipping.Second, the gate is lovely! Nice espresso color. Smooth surface.Third, I wanted a gate that was not flimsy. This gate is somewhat heavy (good for my purposes) but still manageable. I found it easy to lift from under the curved wood top of the gate and I am a medium sized "older" woman (who does not have great arm strength).Overall definitely worth the money. An excellent product.

The gate is well made and very sturdy! The gate has a nice weight to it but yet easy enough to move to where we need it to keep our dog safely confined. It looks beautiful in our home and matches our decor perfectly. I spent a lot of time researching for the perfect gate and this was it!!! If your researching as well and reading this do not hesitate to order!

The gate is of reasonable quality for the most part, but the tops were pulling apart from the sides. I tried to contact the seller as something this large is a giant pain to return, but they did nothing. I finally just got some wood glue and fixed the gate. It does not look near as nice with the glue as there was no real way to cover it up. But it functions. Guess they feel that they won as they sold a damage product for full price, but jut be aware if you do order this you may likely either have to deal with damage or return the product.
