I got old seeds
I ordered a bag of seeds early March with hopes to start a few plants. The bag of seeds came quite rapidly and I was excited so I followed my knowledge of pepper planting to plant and germinate them. They have been sitting for longer then they have ever before so I look at the bag of seeds to see if I did something wrong. I found that the seeds had a sell by date of 11/19. They came to my house in 03/20. I ordered them on 03/03/20. This shouldn't be a problem but I was still sold old seeds that don't want to germinate.. I would like to get a up to date bag of seeds because that's what I paid for.

These jalapenos grow great but are NOT HOT.
These sprouted 100%. Every plant grew and bloomed and produced peppers. I got hundreds of peppers.BUT these peppers are not hot! Hotter, drier weather is supposed to produce hotter peppers, and we certainly had that in SC this summer, but just not hot. I did lots of Miracle Grow for Tomatoes/Vegetables.

Did not germinate
I ordered Burpee Pepperoncini Greek Hot Petter seeds at the end of February and planted a first batch about 3 weeks ago and none of them came up, then I I did another batch 2 weeks ago and nothing happened, the last one I planted about a week ago and still no germination. I am really puzzled because the seeds I ordered from other places germinated without a problem.I would like to contact the company and get a replacement, but there is no contact info for the seller. I guess I have to return these seeds and order a replacement.

Not sure how "Gigante" they're supposed to be, but they're OK.
I've got a couple plants that are surprisingly productive. Peppers are tasty, but not particularly spicy. Only thing I have to say is that they're no larger than a normal jalapeno. Or maybe the stuff that I've seen my entire life at every single store and restaurant ever has always been the same "Gigante" variety? Not sure. Either way: Plants produce a lot of tasty peppers, but I feel a bit cheated as to the expected size. I've gotten 3 harvests off the plants so far, and every single harvest has had all the peppers look pretty much exactly like regular jalapenos.

Just about all germinated and are growing well.
Planted about 10-12 of the seeds about 2 weeks ago. Didn't keep count, but I think all germinated and are growing well. Normally, I'll grow from the seeds from the previous years, and do very little to keep the seeds "fresh", so this rate of germination is better than I've seen and excellent. Compared to the other peppers in the picture, they germinated the quickest - ahead of the Scorpion and Reapers. Jalapeno's are also pretty easy to grow, so I don't expect any problems from here. I'll start some more soon, and will see how the seeds do next year (roll the dice). As far as hotness, I won't know for a while, but I will mess with the chemistry to get them as hot as I can :-) All and all, the seeds worked well.

Fast shipping good germination rate
So far I am happy with arrival time and germination rate most or all germinated I grew these next to another variety of jalapeno plant they grew very strong and quick under t5 light I heat tested the other variety when they were midsize early on when testing hot peppers they are usually mild and they where after ripening they became very hot the biker Billy plants grew much stronger and faster also early on the peppers had noticable more heat than the other plants I am happy with my order and I was sceptical about paying that much fortunately for me it was worth it

100% germination
My first package was sent along with some heat mats, but I never received the seeds. I was promptly sent a replacement, which I've planted and they are all up, 100% germination. Now, I don't need a lot of peppers, so I only planted 8, but I'm sharing seeds with several others and they have had equal good luck. Hopefully the harvest will be as good as the germination.

Great Germination Rate
Each year I buy greek pepperoncini seeds but rarely am I successful in getting the seeds to germinate. These seeds were outstanding and germinated very quickly in my potting barn with 100% success. The plants are sturdy and growing well. I can't wait to plant them in the garden. Thank you!!
