Works great and makes projector install so much better. The 8 inch plate adds more stability but this will work great in confined spaces.

Very slow delivery
I ordered this plate in plenty of time to have it by the time I needed it for a projector installation. I was promised two-day delivery, but I guess they waited a week before they decided to ship it 2nd day. At any rate, I had to buy another plate locally at a higher price to get the job done. Now I have a plate that I don't need. Anyone need a frisby??
