Septic has never been emptied, I attribute this product as the reason for this testament!

I would like to be able to purchase Rid-X in single doses for a better price. It is available but it is too expensive. It would be so much easier to just pour out an entire bottle rather than trying to stop pouring at the line on the bottle. And why on earth did they make the bottle such a dark color, about the same color as the product! I find it difficult albeit not impossible obviously to discern where the liquid is in the bottle in relation to the line on the outside of the bottle. It is just tough to see since the liquid and the bottle are a similar color. Also, I am wondering if the liquid works as well as the powder. I like the liquid better usage-wise because the powder is messy as it 'poofs up' powder dust when you pour it in the toilet, no matter how careful you are. But the liquid version does not seem to work as well for as long a period of time in our experience. In fact the last time we had to have our septic tank cleaned out it had only lasted about two years from the previous cleaning. We were told a crust had formed inside the septic tank, so the toilet paper eventually got stuck in the pipe going from the house to the septic tank. Eventually we had backup in our bathroom into the tub and the toilet overflowed. A super bad mess beyond belief!!

We've just moved into our second country home on a septic system. The first thing I looked for was Ridex.This stuff is the bomb at keeping your septic system clean and tidy!Just by it and forget about it!

Works good

My septic tanks are fairly new. My old ones had issues before I replaced them.I feel that it was time to make sure that I won't have issues again. As I am one person at home, I'm using RID-X every 2 months which should be fine.
