Please do not buy these. The quality is horrible. They are very thin and uneven. The backing is so cheap that it started ripping apart after barely touching the double sided tape and ripped out all of the threading. They have better quality at the dollar store.

Tread came promptly and all the family are thrilled with the design. You do need a double tape to affix them to your stairs otherwise they would fly down, most likely with you on it!So far one of the tread installed was wider than the other by 1/2 inch, unfortunately only saw it after installing it, so it will stay this way!The other anomalie I discovered after applying the double side tape was the side thread was already coming off (see pictures), so I’m wondering how long they are going to last considering it’s a moderate walking area.

I was looking for something not too expensive but stylish for our finished basement stairs and this was it! Arrived in time and there are even 2 extra! Color & pattern was what I wanted. Used double sided carpet tape to attach to the stairs. Material is on the thinner side, but I am very happy with my purchase

I wanted to carpet my basement stairs but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg and came across these guys. Let me say that I'm SUPER happy with this purchase. I even purchased the matching landing strip for the bottom. I wouldn't trust the adhesion of them staying on their own though. I bought double-sided carpet tape to secure them and recommend that you do the same. Well worth the investment.

Measure your steps (and count them) before buying treads. These fit the dimensions of my basement stairs the best for the most affordable price. I used double sided carpet tape to adhere them. We've had them in use for about 3-4 months and they still look new. Highly recommend these!

I am so impressed with these treads. For the price I honestly wasn’t expecting much but I highly recommend them!I needed something for my senior dogs after they both started slipping down our wooden stairs. I didn’t want to spend a ton since I didn’t need a large pack & the main staircase is carpeted. Since they don’t use these stairs all day, I decided to try a less expensive option first.These have worked perfectly from the get go! My Jack Russell was refusing to go down the steps after a bad slip but it only took one time coaxing him down with these treads on & he happily runs up & down. I used the XXYLife tape recommended & they’ve stayed in place, even with my German Shepard mix & 2 kids going up & down them.The grey & white color looks really nice & it’s a great size. I’ve used regular spot carpet cleaner to get a small spill off with no problem. They vacuum up easily. I’m so happy with this purchase!

Use the double sided tape to secure as they did slide a little without and seemed hazardous, but honestly on stairs I think that should be common sense. Once tape was on these are really beautiful! I love the look! My dog no longer slips going up stairs :)

Our sellers had this exact stair tread on the stairs which are made of LVT (luxury vinyl tile). When we toured the house, I thought what a great idea for safety. When we arrived to take possession, the treads were gone. Why the seller decided to remove them I do not know. I wish they had left them! Happily I found the same thread. However, it does not stay put without carpet tape. It would be dangerous to just lay it down. I bought trazon carpet tape (https://www.amazon.com/Grip-Tape-Waterproof-Traction-Staircases/dp/B08F7DKTD4) which works very well. I found it easiest to put the tape onto the back of the carpet and then peel it, sticking it to the floor using a ruler for measurement. It was easy to install.Like the seller, I put it on every other stair which seems to be adequate. I did buy a second 7-strip pack just in case.

I bought these to replace some gnarley stair treads that were already in place when we got the house. The price is great and they look nice and neat. They aren't exactly straight, and some are a little more "off" than others, but we have a preschooler and a cat so I wasn't interested in investing in anything expensive. Yes, carpet tape is required but that was simple and gave me peace of mind that I used a good adhesive to make sure the treads stayed in place. I gave them a 3 out of 5 because they are just average. Nothing fancy, definitely imperfect, but does the job nicely.

Great, durable material yet it doesn’t feel uncomfortable on your feet when walking up or down the stairs. Would have preferred them to be a bit wider but that’s my own fault - overall, they are a great addition, they look adorable, they really add something extra to an otherwise ordinary staircase, and my dog and cat are no longer having issues with the stairs which is why I purchased them in the first place! Would recommend to a friend!

Needed a solution for anti slip on the stairs for the dogs after removing a carpet runner. Very happy with the results. Easy to vacuum, doesn't collect dog hair, with a tiny but of carpet tape it secures it in place...The dogs can easily use the stairs now! Cons: If you have a corner stairwell you may have to get them custom cut and binded to fit, but my local carpet shop didn't charge a cent. Also the pieces are not identical in size but close enough. Due to the irregular sizes and some of the corner finishes I will give it 4 stars. The service from the seller was outstanding though.

These are pretty however they fray easily at the ends where the stair lip is. Used double sided carpet tape to adhere to stairs. They won't last for years but are good for now until we get a stair carpet runner installed

This product slides all over our wooden stairs. The ends of the tread curl up. It seems like the product is well made. Durable. But I would not recommend this product if you don’t want to use an adhesive element to your stairs.
