Spice and Wolf, Vol. 5 - manga

More great art from the manga adaptation of Spice and Wolf
This manga occurs 2/3's the way through the second novel, and 2/3's of the first season of the anime as well. The story continues after the events that happened in Volume 4 when Kraft found out something horrible about the merchandise he purchased and follows what he plans to do to get out of the worst trouble he has yet to face.We really get to see Kraft humanized in this Volume and how this problem that arises might just make Holo and Kraft even closer. The important scenes that happen during this time are really created wonderfully. Just like the other issues the art is really well drawn, but due to the fact some parts are crucial to the series in general, I feel they did a good job in making sure it was drawn like it was portrayed in the novel. Thanks to some of the back story we get for Norah, it makes even more sense why she does what she does. Granted they do explain the reason in the story, but knowing that little bit does make it have more of an impact. One thing is changed though, on the back of the manga you can see a crate with stuff in it. In the anime/novels it's actually in a sack, but it's a minor change and can still stay true to the story if they want it to.Instead of a back story this time around, they have an amusing parody for those who have know about the series K-ON! I never read the series before, but I still found it to be amusing. It's also pretty cool they added characters from the Spice and Wolf series into the little segment.Verdict:Another issue I really enjoyed reading and seeing all the characters again. It's panning out to be a pretty good manga series and one that stays pretty true to the work it's based on. More amazing drawings floods the pages from the artists, which continue each volume bringing to life the great story of the Spice and Wolf Novels/Anime.~ Written: 06-12Positive:* Story gets pretty intense in this volume* The important scenes are drawn just like the book envisioned them* The back story adds to a scene later on in the mangaNegative:* No minor nudity, even though there is a warning. Should only be for the issues that do have it* The items in a sack from the book are changed to items in a crate.

Spice and Wolf. xD
I absolutely LOVE this series. It came in a timely fashion, and in perfect condition! I would recommend this manga to almost anyone. It has a great mix of romance, action, and politics. Politics of a salesman, that is. Very intriguing stuff here.

Favourite Manga!
Reasonable price, perfect quality and all physical features about this product are flawless. The manga itself has a more medieval European feel about it. Not that it was created by western artist, it's definitely Japanese drawn. But it's the localisations of medieval Europe which draw me in. The story line is interesting and fun, it's like an old fairy tail which has been adapted into a manga, just has that amazing feel to it!, It was also voted best Manga by NEO Magazine, can't go wrong with that now can you?
