For a text book it is not a boring read. It is insightful, easy to read.

I bought this as a Kindle version, and was a little disappointed that it wasn't set up like a true textbook with thumbnails and page numbers, so it was a little difficult to search through at times. I also found the chapters to be somewhat choppy and/or redundant in areas, though I guess it's difficult to capture certain information in just one spot when it applies to different life stages.

This is one of the worst text books I've used in my graduate work in clinical nutrition. Very disjointed.

All is good except the price....

But you probably need it for a class and don't have a choice. It's redundant and has many grammatical errors.

No photos, graphs, or images. All dense text that is hard to skim for answers. Way too expensive.

I need this for class and my campus bookstore has it listed for almost 200$ This saved my life honestly because I’m broke. I can’t afford a book that expensive when I have five other classes requiring textbooks as well
