Incredible detail and depth
I cannot say enough good things about this set! I’m an experienced Lego Star Wars builder. I usually prefer the ships because I love the Technic frames, but I got this because it looks so expansive and detailed. It is!The details are incredible and even include art on the walls as well as plants. If you look closely, there’s a pathway for a mini figure to be able to walk from one side of the city all the way to the other!I love the large number of rooms, each complete with detailed doors. Three are sliding to be either open or closed, and the other three open vertically and can be held open with a small technic axle. The mini figures are extraordinary and large in number. You can freeze poor Han with the mere flick of a switch—it’s an incredibly cool mechanism.Slave I is a great build in and of itself, and is seriously cool-looking. I’m not embarrassed to say that I couldn’t stop smiling and staring at it.Display value:There is a lot of contrast with the colors: white for the dining room, gray for mechanical rooms, dark red and black for the dreaded torture room, dark yellow/tan landing pad with the amazing Slave I, and of course orange highlights on the carbon freezing chamber. The set has great display value, but has a very large footprint: 22 inches by 22 inches, so make sure you have ample room. In terms of horizontal shelf space, this takes up more room than the Death Star, but is considerably shorter. The $350 price tag is quite daunting, but between the large mini figure count, display value, details, and unending play value, in my opinion it’s worth the cost.—One word of caution when you move it: be aware of the landing pad and carbon freezing chamber—they are both not actually connected with bricks to the rest of the set, but have a little notch that slides under a ledge to hold it in place. This actually makes it easier to move because there are fewer sections to support at one time.

Really cool Lego Set!
Bought this for Christmas for my son and he loves it. Its very cool, it had 12-13 bags I believe. A few of the bags were challenging but we did it in a few days and it is very cool. Worth the money and its a good purchase. Comes with a lot and a lot of cool features for kids to enjoy!

Great item, grossly inflated.
The betrayal at cloud city Lego set is perfect for collectors. The price however is grossly inflated. If you're a casual collector, don't pay 800 dollars for a set that originally retailed for 350. Great set, Terrible ridiculous price.

Great for playing with but too unfinished looking to display
This is a great play set for re-enacting scenes from the Cloud City. There are some many separate rooms and mini figures that I believe that was the intent of the designer for this set.For the price, I just wish they had designed a removable top from the set so that it would be displayed as well as played with.

We would be honored if you would join us.
Great set depicting arguably the greatest sequence in Star Wars history. The MSRP of 350$ is a little high for what you get but I was able to snag it for $225 from Warehouse and think it's great. It's easily the biggest lego set I own and I would recommend to any die hard lego or Star Wars fan.

Excellent lego set for moderate to advanced Lego builders and Star Wars fans
This is an excellent Lego set for fans of Star Wars, especially fans of Empire Strikes Back. Some of the most iconic scenes are represented in this play set.The only part I found to be an issue was the assembly of the section for freezing Han Solo in Carbonite.

A whopper of a set.
This was the cornerstone set of a very LEGO Christmas. It was a huge hit.Despite its high piece count, it was not to exhausting to assemble. As always, adding Star Wars to the box adds a hefty premium to the price, but Mickey’s got to make that cheddar- Minnie has expensive tastes.
