chouyatou Women's Basic Five-Pocket Rugged Wear Denim Pencil Skirt with Slit

I purchased the black one and loved it.Got the exact same size and skirt in light denim it was about 3 inches longer and 4 inches wider.Not a small difference but a huge difference.Like I said same skirt same brand same size just different color. (See photos) very dissatisfied.

I purchased a size L and I would say that fits like a 12. I am returning it because it just did not fit me well. The waist came up too high for my taste, but that is also the fashion right now. I also felt it was a bit long if I pulled the waist down lower. I have a larger waist compared to hips and this fit me well. I considered hemming it but it is designed with a back vent and hemming would have left this looking oddly short. Overall the quality was very good for the price. I liked the fact it felt like a heavier denim rather than the light stretchy stuff that is everywhere these days. I think it would fade gracefully. I loved the fact there was no distressing or wiskers. It is just a nice basic classic denim skirt that would go with everything.

I'm not really sure why this skirt has so many votes saying that it runs small, maybe the manufacturing is inconsistent. I am a US 8-10 and according to the size chart I ordered a large, hoping it would still fit. It is quite big. I wanted it more fitted and not baggy in the first place but the large gapped in my waist and was too wide in the hips and toward the bottom. I will be reordering in a medium and decide from there. quality is great for the price, on par with H&M/Forever21/Zara

Fabric is just like regular denim, thick enough and not like those thinner stretchy ones. There’s no stretch on these at all. The blue color is like dark denim, almost indigo. It isn’t pencil-cut but a just straight. It hangs like an a-line skirt. I wear M-L and have a wider mid-section so I got a Large size, which fit comfortably right.For its price $19.99, it is a great buy since skirts similar to this usually run at $25 and up at your usual retail stores.

I have been looking for just the right denim skirt, and this one looked perfect. It was exactly the style, color and length I was looking for. Appears to be well made. Sturdy, not flimsy. I liked the fact that it had just a little stretch to it, so it seems like it would keep it's shape well after wearing for a while. Sadly, it is just too small for me to wear. I noticed in other reviews it mentioned that they ran small, so I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. I normally wear an 18W or 1X. Ordered the 2X and it was still way too small. Breaks my heart that it doesn't come in a larger size as otherwise this would have been the perfect skirt for me.

I kinda like it. Comfortable, nice length just above the knee. Have it in denim and white and expect to get good use out of both as I don't like shorts. I'm 5'5", 147, and 55 btw. Sometimes that helps!

This basic denim skirt is well made. I ordered from the sizing chart, but it's a bit tight, which may relax with washing. Someone said the pockets were plenty big enough to hold a phone, but I find my Samsung S7 doesn't fit easily - I can cram it in sideways but it's hard to get it in and out. I wish the pockets were deeper. Updated 10/30: I first ordered an L, based on the size chart, and it was too snug. Then I ordered an XL, it's much better. They are different garments. The XL pockets are deeper and hold a Samsung S7 comfortably. Both are the same brand but details (tags, zipper construction) are different. I am returning the L and keeping the XL.

Not sure how to edit a previous review? My second try, one size larger. Sending it back. I couldn't figure out the difficulty in sizing, then I saw tbe reason: the zipper is too short!!! And sizing is small
