I couldn’t be happier with the 2 I ordered for my kids. I spent a lot of time reviewing all the different options, as well as all the “top wetsuits for kids” online. You just can’t beat the price! Let’s face it parents you may as well plan on buying one of these every year to 2 years. So why spend the extra money? So let’s talk about the other benefits. 1) fit- as long as you measure your child (not go off clothes size) these suits are true to size. The 2 most important measurements to me were waist and height (especially height). If the suit doesn’t fit your child’s height it will give them a bad wedgy or it won’t be tight enough and fill up with water (bye bye buoyancy). In selecting the size I found the suit where my child’s height was on the low to middle side of the scale (giving them a little bit of growing room) 2) quality- let’s just say the Tasmanian devils would grow out of this suit before he could tear it up! Unmatched quality for the price. 3) warmth- this solely depends on your child. We snorkeled a Florida spring that never goes over 60-65 degrees. One child was fine one was cold. We determined our smaller skinner child would need a full suit. The 3mm is perfect for a spring suit though. 4) stretch- 3mm neoprene flexes but not much. Don’t buy a suit thinking your child can stretch into it. If your looking for more flex a 2mm suit would be better but your sacrificing warmth. This suit however was flexible enough for my 8 and 10 year old.

My 3 year old is the size of an average 4 year old (according to the doctor's charts). This suit fits fine with some room to grow. I think she'll outgrow it in about 6 months?The zipper is on the larger size and easy to pull up and down. There is a small square Velcro strap on the top to help secure the zipper. The suit is on thicker side, which is good because it helps keep my daughter warm in the water. It also seems to have a little bit of buoyancy when she's attempting to back float in swim class (so said the instructor).Being that we live in Hawaii, I would have thought there would be a lot of wetsuits available for kids, but turns out not. Thankfully, Amazon has a vast marketplace where I can read everyone's reviews on products before I make a purchase. I love this wetsuit and would really consider to buy a different size if my daughter continues to want to take swim lessons.

This product came quickly and my autistic son with sensory issues just loved how snug/soft/comfortable and easy to put on it was! He hasn’t had the chance to try it out in water, but will soon! Suggested sizing was very accurate for us. I went with the company suggested when choosing a size. Although we haven’t put it to use. I am so pleased I wanted to get a review in, to help any hesitant buyers out there. Very very pleased!

We live in the high Andes mountains in Colombia where my kids swim for the local team. At more than 7,400' elevation it gets in the fifties at night. The outdoor pool they swim in is not heated so the water temp runs quite cold. I purchased this wetsuit for my 12 year-old son and a different brand for my daughter. The kids love them! I've been thanked many times and may win father of the year :-). All of their teammates now want to order their own.So, if you're looking for a great deal on a wetsuit for the kids then look no further as the price, fit and quality are all excellent.

***update below****Haven't used it in water yet but it doest smell, feels like its made well and looks good. It fits my 19 month old daughter pretty well (according to the size chart provided) she's tall and thin so there is room around her limbs for the water to get in but it will definitely help (as we're going up to Lake Tahoe next week). I might put a long sleeve rash vest under it to help with that and sun protection. Will update later.Ok so it was awesome. Kept her warmAnd swimming in glacial Lake Tahoe with no complaints. Unfortunately she’s grown out of it now but we’ll keep it for her little brother to use when he grows into it.

I ordered this for my 3 year old son, the reason I ordered this is he gets very cold during his swim lessons and this swimsuit kept him nice and warm. It is very eye catching and also fits true to size. My son is 3 and wears 4. So keep that in mind before you make this purchase.

This is an excellent wetsuit for the price. The colors are vibrant, pattern is modern, and quality/warmth is great for Pacific Ocean swimming. Though it specifies that it's a girls design, it's definitely gender neutral. It has medium thickness which was perfect for 60-70 degree overcast days and the cold water of the Oregon coast.Sizing: WAY off. We ordered the kids XL for our 13 year old daughter and it ended up fitting our neighbor's son who wears 8-9 in clothing and is 9 years old and short for his age. (See photos).Love the wetsuit - just be sure you have the right size.

The smell. I’ve always laughed at the “smell” reviews...but...THE SMELL! It’s awful. Even after washing...THE SMELL!If you can get beyond THE SMELL...it seem to be nice. Very thick material. Not sure how comfortable it would be.Not sure my daughter can handle THE SMELL.
