This leash is very good quality it also has the reflective strip for night time walking and a handle it you need to grab your dog for extra security. I recommend this leash.

This is a very nice, sturdy and well-designed leash. The clasp is easy to use, yet locks if that is needed. There is a reflective backing which is a good safety feature when walking at night on sidewalks or near traffic. The second handle is very useful for getting control of a dog in any number of situations, like when you meet another dog. It is lightweight and easy to hold, while strong enough for a large dog. I have two of the leashes for my 60 pound dogs and it does great. I had a problem with one in that the stitching started to came loose, but I contacted Tuff Pupper and they immediately sent me a replacement. Many thanks for the excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

For some odd reason our sweet Jindo dog will shake his head and all the other leashes we've had for him will sometimes magically fall off! We've tried the two different styles of clips and several leashes and none of them worked until we got this leash! The locking clip is very secure and the added loop works great when holding him close to get him out of traffic (we have no sidewalks on several streets in our neighborhood)...the reflective side is bright at night for visibility and the price is very reasonable...it's also got a comfortable feel to it and we've had it for a year now and it's holding up well. I will be getting another one of these before this one wears out...so happy with this leash! Our dog wasn't trying to break loose - it would just magically happen when he shook his head usually after peeing. lol.

the leash is only reflective on one side. It seems sturdy and well made. The part that is reflective is very reflective. I love the handle! it makes things so much easier. The leash is soft and flexible but seems sturdy. the clasp doesn't have a spring which I like, and it has a lock on it so escape becomes unlikely. There is a D ring on the handle at the end of the leash that comes in handy for dog bags or anything else and it doesnt get in the way. I've only been using it for 3 days but so far so good!

This is a fine quality leash, with a lot of useful and well-crafted features! My new adopted dog is JET black, and just disappears from view when it gets dark outside. Since I can't even see him, I KNOW cars and pedestrians won't see him. That's not safe for him, so a reflective leash was needed to walk him at night. Most of the competitors' leashes had thin stripes of reflective threads woven in, but this product uses a wide band of fabric, running the full length, that really shows up in the least amount of ambient light. Everything is top quality, from the materials to the stitching, to the hardware. I am now hoping this co. makes a matching collar that Buddy can wear all the time so he's visible and fitted out in style.If I could make two adjustments to the leash, I would ask that the front handle loop be attached a bit higher-up, so using it didn't kill my lower back. I'd also shorten the total length by a foot. But that's only right for my particular dog, who is a 53 lb. Labrador mix and his shoulder height is around 22" high. This is really proportioned for pretty large dogs.UPDATE: Two quibbles after eight months of daily use: 1) the reflective fabric strip is fraying, leaving long threads that I have to clip off. Could eventually cause the strip to separate from the webbing. 2) I removed the metal “collar” from the spring clasp. It was always in the way, and it prevented the clasp from closing securely if it was in the “up” position when attaching it to the collar loop. Annoying! Please use a simpler clasp in future versions; a “safety feature” that isn’t secure doesn’t do much good, after all. It is STILL a very high-quality product, though!

As an owner of a 120lb Newfoundland puppy I can say without a doubt this is the best leash on Amazon! The construction of the leash is excellent, from the 2 super soft neoprene handles to the heavy metal clip, with sliding lock to prevent leash from disconnecting from collar. The highly reflective material, which runs the full length of the leash, is great on nightly walks. Once we put the leash on our pup it was night and day from our old nylon leash. We immediately were able to control him on walks in the neighborhood. We used to worry about him pulling to run after other dogs or squirrels but now we are in complete control and both our pup and we enjoy our daily walks. The metal clip to hold our pick-up bags is also well constructed and convenient.

Great sturdy leash for my pupper. That extra handle at the bottom is really useful if you need to quickly shorten the leash.

Leash is strong and perfect length but warranty and customer service is non existent. This is my second leash from them. Same situation :Safety hook leash lock to dig collar comes loose now and will not lock. Again stitching of reflective strip is coming loose and reflective paintvis coming off on my hand making it sticky and nasty. I gave it one star for actual leash material which is strong but useless with a dependable leash lock and reflective material disintegrating causing a sticky mess and stitching all over the place. Not worth the money warranty is useless. I emailed them a while ago and I even went to their website to get my leash repaired or replaced. Absolutely no response. I will be looking for a better company that actually backs up their product.
