Great game
Bought this as a gift and played it at Christmas. Tried to buy a set for myself but seems all sold out. Easy to play, great fun. Really makes you think. Dates are historical and recent so okay for all ages especially if you pair up.

Also played this with relative with dementia
Bought this game as a replacement for one given away.Have played it, in teams rather than as individuals, with an elderly relative with dementia. He could take part as he could contribute, as he was very good in remembering some events. It also stimulates conversation so it is a good game to take on visits.Of course, also very enjoyable as a game played as the instructions direct too (which is what it was originally bought for). Doesn't take up a lot of space when playing , small to transport, and the games can last as long as desired.

A great game in need of extra cards
This is a great game but I reckon after about 20 rounds you've probably cracked all the years of all the events so it would be good to have the option to buy extra cards.

Perfect gift for history fans!
This game is the perfect gift for history buffs! We opened the box and could play within 5 mins. The rules are easy to understand. There are a lot of opportunities for different strategies to be played. My 9 year old son also loved it. We all had fun. I would highly recommend it.

It is a good history game
The game is good, the packaging could be better. It would be nicer packaged in a sturdier box.

Works with three players, Might be too slow with more.
Simple ideas are usually the best and this is testament to that. We played with three adults and it moved along nicely. The idea being you pick a group of cards and put them in chronological order before turning them over and seeing if you're correct. Other players can 'ring the bell' for a steal if they think you got it wrong. You can choose to ignore cards if you're unsure and place them in the middle and as the game goes on you can take some cards from the middle if you like your chances with them for extra points. You keep going until the preferred amount of rounds are complete. We decided to ignore the Bell part as we felt it wasn't needed but this element would ensure all players are playing even when it isn't their turn. Saying that, only one play can challenge someone and ring the bell. Some of the events are quite obscure so I don't think this game would suit younger players... although they might get lucky! The game is marketed as 3+ players but I think if you had six or more then it would take far too long for players turns to come around and I expect one player would be quicker on the bell and beat everyone else to it, making the game very one sided.

Fun for the family
This game is simple and easy to set up and play. As a family we had great fun putting these historical events in order. Definitely a few surprises and wonderful to have a little information about the events on each card

Fun Gift for History Buff
I spotted this when looking for a father's day gift for my dad, who has always loved history. My husband and I played it with my parents immediately after opening, and we all enjoyed it. It is challenging and educational--a great game for smart people!
