Gets the job done
I bought this for my chickens but my ducks love it too. There are a couple of grips I have about it though. One, the rubber stopper to stop the water flow on the down spout doesn't hold the water good enough while filling up the tank. It leaks quite a bit, even when moved to fully cover the hole. The legs fall off really easily when moving the tank....and when its full....its heavy! So you have to lay it down on its side to retrieve the leg (or legs when multiple fall off at once) and put them back on.Other than that, its great and holds enough water for a good long while. Gets the job done.

Decent, but needs a little improvement
I had noticed issues with sturdiness in other reviews when I was looking to purchase this product, but I haven’t had any issues [so far] with that. My biggest issue has been the red plastic piece that is used to cover the hole in the water spigot. It’s constantly falling down and blocking the water hole so no water can come out. The reserve tank is always full and the bowl will be dry. Once I raise the red plastic piece, the water will then come out. As soon as I release the red plastic piece, it slides back down and blocks the water again. It’s kind of annoying to have to keep checking whether that piece is up correctly or if it slid down, blocking the water hole. I will be figuring out something to hold it up, but for now that’s my biggest gripe with this product [and I purchased two].

It's OK
Overall it's alright. I have 135 chickens and it does well once filled. The rubber piece that keeps the water in when you're filling does a pretty mediocre job but that is my only complaint.

Great idea that does not work
Legs don’t fit properly. Even on stable platform legs keep falling off

Not sure what to think
I was super excited to get this. For some reason I couldn't get it to stop leaking. I put the black seal in. I had it screwed on tight. Tried tighter, tried a looser tight.. nothing made it stop from still pouring out over the floor on even ground so I decided to return it. I decided to return it but when I did the return instructions were not like normal Amazon returns. If it even looks used and doesn't come back exactly how they sent it in it's original packaging, they can dock me up to 50% even though I'm returning it because it seems to be faulty. I can't believe that this is even being said and I'm not at risk of losing a ton of money. It had water in it for only a couple days and the chickens didn't even use it but since it had water in it I fear I'm going to be docked. I'm just really confused with how this is even okay. I feel that no matter what I'm about to be out of money after receiving a faulty product on the first place. I did order a smaller new one and set it up exactly the same and it works perfectly so I know I wasn't doing anything wrong with this larger one. I'm so upset over this.

Works well compared against other stand alone waterers
The waterer is tall enough to keep it free of debris, but suitable for medium to large sized chickens. This is a gravity feeder, so there are no mechanical parts to break. Large enough that it maintains enough water for a few days.Would not recommend to move it after it is full. Put it in a place where a house can reach.I would not recommend this waterer if you had to move it to fill it.

Keeps my hens watered.
It is a struggle to keep clean they keep getting the drinking water dirty. It is also a hastle lifting it out to clean the tank. Upside they always have water. No problem with algae growing since I keep it in coop out of direct sun light. Maybe I'll raise it up so they have to kick dirt higher to get in watering pan area. Minor issues but still would recommend.

BUYER BEWARE
At first I was excited about my little giant waterer, it looked like it was going to be a perfect solution for me.A few days after initial set up I realized the gasket that moves up or down to cover the hole the water comes out of was defective. It was too lose and would not stay in up place to allow water to flow out properly. This became an issue and it started reverse vacuuming the dirty water (I have 2 ducks and 5 chickens) back up into the dome so the entire dome of water was dirty.I messaged the seller (and sent images) and asked if they could send me a new gasket and I would be happy to do the work to replace the part to have a functioning waterer. They indicated they do not have parts and are unable to do that. Their solution was "bleach the inside of the waterer but this doesn't solve the root issue here of the loose gasket which I replied to them asking about again. They asked me to send the item back for a refund. They refused to send me a label to ship the item back so I had to pay $50 to send a used, defective waterer back to them. After they received it back, they decided they were only going to refund me 50% of the purchase price because the unit was dirty, remember I had already sent them images of the defect and told them what was happening so when they offered a refund they were aware it was dirty. So now I'm out half the cost of the defective unit and all of my shipping cost. After some back and forth with them and not being able to get a proper resolution I filed and AtoZ claim with amazon. Thankfully amazon looks after its customers and was able to mediate finding me in the right and refunded the rest of my money. I'm still out $50 for the shipping but at least the cost of the item came back to me.The fact that they refunded 50% only because the unit isn't resalable is also of concern to me. Besides that they knew that before asking me to send it back, they also knew it was used, so are they reselling used units that come back for return? That seems to be a biosecurity issue to me no?Do yourself a favour and check out the Ukal Canada. Its built well, the gasket is tight and its a fraction of the price!
