STAR BRITE Durable Clear Teak Sealer - One-Coat Coverage for All Fine Woods - Lasts Longer Than Traditional Oils - Clear Color - 1 GAL (096800)

I used this sealer on teak Adirondack chairs that I have had for years. It was easy to apply and the chairs look wonderful. I used about half the can which covered two large chairs and a small table. I did put two coats on the top of the furniture before reading the instructions that indicated one coat (my bad). I bought the "clear" version and it just soaks into the wood without adding any color. We've had a couple of rain storms and so far the furniture hasn't water marked. Nice product!

This product is overpriced. I applied two coats of this product on my brand new outdoor Teak table and chairs following the directions on the lable to the tee. First and second rainfalls within 1 month were fine water beaded up and didn't penetrate the finish. However, the third rainfall a month later, soaked into the wood and mold started to grow and the woodgrain started to raise (This wasn't one of those cheap,big box store, teak sets). Now the set looks terrible and it's only been out on our deck for two months.

It went on beautifully and then dried to look like the starting wood but with a nice clean finish. Overall happy with the look. IT DID NOT CHANGE the color of the wood on our older piece.

I bought my first gallon before this one and ran out. I applied this to my teak deck and it looks amazing and should last 1-2 years. But when I used a second gallon for the other half it came out darker for some reason. I shook and mixed both cans thoroughly so don't know why it came out darker. I bought both Clear so hoping it fades a little to look like the first half.

Looks like a good sealer. It left the color natural. Longevity TBD, but reviews are good.

Looked awesome after putting it on. Had high hopes after spending two days cleaning and sanding. Lasted about 3 weeks, then table looked like it did before putting it on. Wouldn't use again.

For the price I expected more. The SUN is harsh this year, or is it the Cosmic Rays since we no longer have much of a magnetic field at Solar Min. Point is my Teak Table is not holding up well in the sun after being treated twice this season. Its quick to bleach out again in the sun. Can't keep the honey color look. Mold is quick to regrow as well this season. What is happening.
