Fascinating Read
The latest studies in quantum physics seem to indicate that consciousness can directly impact the physical world. A number of researchers and writers—Larry Dossey, Charles Tart, and Dean Radin among others, have sought to probe and examine this new paradigm. Cynthia Sue Larson’s book goes a bit further in a speculative direction than these others do. She looks at the idea of parallel universes and suggest we can “jump” into alternate realities. Her ideas are interesting, perhaps better taken metaphorically than literally—but who knows? I like the lack of dogmatism in her tone, and her willingness to ask: What if? The most crucial fact to come away with is that attitude impacts our lives in ways people were previously unaware of. (The discussion of placebos is fascinating.) The author suggests ways to “jump” into a new and better reality through a shift in mindset. This is a well-written book, highly enjoyable to read. The universe is a more complicated and miraculous place than early scientists ever knew, and we laypeople are just beginning to grasp the implications. The book gives us an exhilarating take on new possibilities.

realize your dreams
"Quantum jumping is the process by which a person envisions some desired result or state of being that is different from the existing situation--and by clearly observing that possibility and supplying sufficient energy, makes a leap into that alternative reality." page 10That about sums up what Cynthia Sue Larson is trying to say with her book Quantum Jumps, but of course she goes into more detail along with example of success, and ways of achieving the quantum state. Like the book The Secret, but with the recipe for getting what you want, Larson gives a nonscientific breakdown on just what a quantum is all about. It's as simple as day-dreaming your way into the life you want, instead of reacting to a life you don't want.As Larson explains, everything is possible and we're always creating our reality--sending energy off in all directions by the decisions we make and the energy/attention we give to those attentions. "Consider the idea that many times--possibly even every time you make a decision or choice, you are actually moving between alternate realities--between parallel worlds. In those alternate realities there is another possible "you" who you can connect with so strongly that the conscious awareness and the energy that is literally moves into that other reality. When feeling so strongly connected to another self in a different reality, it is possible to gain direct access to the knowledge available only in that time and space, and to experience an entirely different self." page 21 Actually the show Fringe was about just that type of quantum jumping. Want a different life? Act as if you're already living that life. Want to be more success? Larson explains how positioning your body can raise your confidence in how you feel about yourself.Quantum Jumping is all about 'faking it 'till you make it' in a way. If you act like a professional musician, you'll practice every day for hours and wouldn't that give you mastery over your instrument of choice? If you act confident, people will perceive you as confident and give you more responsibility which will give you confidence in your ability--in other words, it's a feedback loop, and Larson gives you both the explanation of how to do it, and the skills to make it happen.

Necessary leaps
The author does a great job of explaining and illustrating a concept that can not only seem difficult but also can seem a little crazy. Something we might have experienced as confusion or even worried was the onset of mental illness she identifies as quantum mechanics and the wave of the future--a capacity to strive for in interacting within dimensions of time and space. She moves quantum mechanics into the everyday, something more utilitarian than any way of thinking and being we've ever had. That's a large order and I'm glad to see her tackle it. It's still a slippery subject, but she's produced a really helpful and significant book. These are the steps to our own mastery of our own health and well being.

Narrator needed a glass of water
The information was pretty good but the narrator always seemed like she was ready to cough and needed to clear her throat. I kept want to tell her to get a drink or water or something. It was annoying and detracted from the books's information. Also during the Q & A portion there were several questions about changing the past.I have listened to many books and others explain changing the past in better ways.

Intriguing book, well worth reading!
Cynthia Sue Larson's book, Quantum Jumps, is definitely worthwhile reading for a number of reasons. First of all her concept of quantum jumping, in other words sliding back and forth between potential multi-verses of experience, is intriguing. As I am writing this, scientists in Switzerland working with the Hadron Collider (as reported in the London Times) are searching for more evidence that there is not just one universe, but many universes, so she is in good company with support for the idea.Even if you feel stretched by the concept of quantum jumping, the book is filled with interesting research. It also includes practical exercises to help you have more of the life that you want. I definitely recommend this book. I get book review requests often, and this was one of the books that I actually read in its entirety, and we just bought a Kindle edition as well so my wife could read it on her Kindle.

Another perspective of magic.
Understanding the world of perspective world view in an expanded perception of reality. Seeing more diverse perspectives allow us to expand, explore and develop our understanding of our own self and our world of realities. Finally gave me a chance to understand what I wanted to know what I knew. Knowing that I have been on my own path of growth I desire for… how good can it get?

I was expecting a little more of this book
I liked this book, the exercises are easy to make and is easy to read, it's not complicated. I would like this book had an exercise to recover things that were stolen. I recommend it, follow the exercises and enjoy the results.

Lovely reading. The voicing of it very nice though I find it a bit quiet. Need it louder and slower to comprehend this wonderful gift of the information in the book .
