This is a great book. Not what I expected. Old fashion solutions to everyday problems. Love it! It even looks like an older book.

Old time wit, wisdom and how to. Enjoyed it as brought back memories of things I ve done or heard parents/grandparents speak about.

This book is HUGE! Literally about 3"+ and full of so much useful information.

Bought this as a Christmas present... Looks great, in condition I ordered it in.. shipped great... cant wait to see them open it.

Some of the ideas in this book are and will be so helpful. I just thump thru it and start reading. Very informant.

I was actually expecting something a bit more useful from this book. About 1/6 of the book are recipes - those should be in a cook book. I wanted to find out how people lived back then and how they solved their problems. I approach this with a survivalist mindset. It does cover a lot of subjects, though, and in that way will be a reference of things I do not have books about. It turns out the book is a compilation of old magazine articles and excerpts from old books from about 100 years ago. While that is interesting in itself, I expected more detailed descriptions for the modern mind - something that was written in the present. That said, It may be good to keep it around, as historical backdrop.
