BEST LEARNING EduQuiz Basic Set I - Interactive Educational Matching Toy for Kids

This toy arrived yesterday and my 4 year old has hardly put it down since! The cards have a wide range of difficulty levels. There are loads that she can do by herself, and many that she needs someone who can read to do with her. It’s ideal as both a ‘together’ activity and one she can do on her own.The pictures are colorful and easy to understand, and it’s super compact. The cards are all stored in the back, which is handy.My 7 year old has been enjoying it as well, and the more challenging cards are fun for her (though she enjoys knowing the easier ones too, and feels extra clever). It's gratifying to click on the correct answer, and hear the 'correct' sound.It has a great range of topics- shapes, animals, professions, math, colour matching, and SO much more. Those are the ones I see, as she’s sitting next to me while I write this. She is learning a lot from it, and she doesn't even realize that she is! :) I’m really pleased with the toy, and think that the price is just right!Oh, and I like that it turns itself off to save the batteries as an added bonus.This is already on my list as a Christmas gift for one of my daughter's friend!

Arrived Tuesday and my 3 yr old has not stopped using this. Although some of the activities are a little advanced and he needs my help it’s still been fun and I enjoy having an excuse to spend some quality time with him. I was looking for something to help his development for starting school next year and this has ticked all the boxes. My 6 yr old has also benefitted from using this and I’m very pleased with this purchase. This will be a favourite for a long time so it’s money well spent. In time I know this will be useful for quiet time when my youngest gets older.

This was a hit over Christmas with my Great Niece.It arrives in a nice retail box and even has batteries fitted but disabled with a small tag that has to be removed. The digital voice is very clear and guides you through its operation. There are 30 double-sided cards that can be inserted in the front of the unit and the child has to press the right item. This makes learning fun for the child. It's fun even if they are really too young to understand the right and wrong answers.Overall, this is a nice educational toy for the money. If I could fault it in any way, I would say perhaps it isn't as rugged as it could be.

After seeing the awards this toy won I was excited to get it for my three year old. However, I’m so disappointed I’m going to send it back! The cards don’t stay on the screen surface properly and can easily be torn. The touch pad interaction with the card is inaccurate as the correct answers are frequently “wrong”. It’s a good concept but very poorly designed. Very disappointing - don’t buy it!

Product is ok but a little confusing for some kids , even myself was wondering what was going on as it kept telling me I was wrong.What I noticed is that you can’t touch the actual image it’s the red dot 🔴 that triggers the response. If this wasn’t the case I would have given it a better score . Overall once you figure out what to do it works fine

UPDATE:The company has just sent me a complimentary replacement after raising the below issue.Hello, unfortunately the Edu Quiz doesn’t work properly and gives the wrong answer to the first question on most of the cards. Please could I ask for a replacement/advice.

This game is great for children who have started reading. My 6-year old finds this very interesting and useful in helping her to learn. She keeps changing the cards from one to another and getting excited when she got the correct answers.But my 4-year old who is just a beginner reader could not fully benefit from this because it does not read the questions automatically. But I think when she can read fluently, she will find this beneficial too.Being interactive in terms of getting instant feedback through right or wrong answers is a big plus point for this educational toy as compared to the conventional textbooks. The apple-shaped design and colourful quizzes cards are another advantages for this product. Highly recommended!

My daughter just got it tonight she is over 3 and a half but I can see it’s too grown up for her.I think my 6 year old will be enjoying it more.I am disappointed by the size it is a lot smaller than my hand size!It should be a lot bigger esp since it’s geared to young children.It has a pocket at the back to keep the cards but it’s very tight when you squash all of them in..pity.Am surprised it had so many good reviews.

It's an excellent product that provides my grandson with a fun and interactive way to learn. Really practice their skills in matching things right. Easy to use and perfect to bring on car rides!

Waste of money, doesnt work right at all.

This was a gift for 2 of my grandchildren to help them learn to read better. They both loved it!!
