Fun project
This arrived promptly and it had all its parts. The instructions were in English. They aren’t super detailed and there’s a lot of working with tiny parts, so it takes planning ahead and patience, but it’s doable. I recommend identifying all your parts and reading the directions through ahead of time, and knowing what parts are going to be used more than once so that you don’t waste it all upfront and then need it later. Has happened to me in the past! Requires providing your own glue and battery because of shipping. Not my first one of these, and I still made mistakes, but it’s a great sense of accomplishment to finish. Took me about a week of several hours a day to complete, so maybe 25-30 hours. I’d buy again.

Very cool little project!
This took me about two days to complete, and was my first diy miniature room. It was very fun, time consuming, and just the right amount of challenging as well!Note: I did alter some of the decorations and added a few extra ones with my leftover fabric where the room seemed plain or empty.Everything was so much fun to make, and I used Tacky Glue for some parts and Elmer’s liquid glue for others. If you have a hard time gluing down the fabric pieces then I would recommend you to use double-sided tape (which can be purchased on Amazon). The lighting portion of the project was a bit difficult to put together at first, although the instruction pamphlet was super helpful and has large step by step color images! I’ve attached two images of the “behind the scenes” of my two LED lights and it looks pretty hectic but it did the job and kept the wires in place.Overall would buy from this company again, no products were damaged or missing and everything was easy to locate. This wasn’t too hard and perfect for beginners like me.Thanks for reading! :)

A perfect gift or hobby
CALICO CRITTERS can fit but only the babies will fit to spec or size ratio of the house It will take you two days to built just be patient along with some acrylic glue, a little of super glue, wood glue and material glue. Or just use super glue for everything even silicone glue. It came out as the picture on the box and in the description. You can even decorate it the way you want or build it the way you want, personalized it do your own home and not follow instructions. But if you follow the instructions to the tea, the house will come out as intended and perfect. also solder the wires then insulate for the lights for durable connections and no fire hazard.

Cute but...not finished. needs tweaking.
house is cute. some pieces are warped so they do not fit as well as they should. tools are adequate. the fabrics fray and are hard to work with. the pre placed areas for the music box and battery box don't allow for symmetry of the room decorations and the sofa is too large for the space provided. a rocking chair or smaller stuffed chair would be better. a small 90 degree jig, not included, is helpful. A fine tip paint brush for applying glue, also not included, is helpful.I will edit this review as I progress with the project.

It is cute, but . . .
This is the second miniature house kit I have tried, and like with the first one, the instructions are seriously lacking. Some steps are skipped, and sometimes the written portion is just gibberish. Only buy this kit if you have access to YouTube videos of others constructing the kit. Also, only use the proper glue. I bought Topenca Liquid Silicone, clear craft glue, from Amazon. It works so well. Yes, it tends to be a little "stringy" but it holds quickly, still giving you time to adjust. Also, be prepared if something is missing in the kit. In my case, the "red foam particles" are missing, and they are called for in the construction of about 10 of the small items. I had some red seed beads which I used instead. My kit did come with the music box, but the battery was missing. I bought a package of LR1130 AG10 batteries. It takes two batteries and you stack them like pancakes in the battery case. The dog playing the piano is cute.

So fun and so cute
So cute and so FUN. While I haven't finished the whole thing, I have put together about half of the items. It is so fun. The instructions are pretty easy to decipher. There are templates for the fabrics and whatnot that you have to cut. I can't see this as a kit for kids. There are a lot of little pieces that need to be assembled with precision.I plan on using my own scrapbook paper for the wallpaper. The kit includes wallpaper, but it is too shiny and with all the scrapbook paper options out there I can customize it to my taste. There are so many parts of this little kit that you could add your own touch to.

Adorable kit for Christmas.
I made this for my 3 year old niece for a pre-Christmas treat and she adores it! She actually got a call yesterday that the lights went out and she needs new batteries. The kit was super enjoyable to put together. High quality print-outs and all the components fit together with minimal futzing.I will say that when you glue the roof pieces together you may want to tape it to the base to dry. The angle was a little steep to set right on, so I had to separate that seal so it would fit down on the house angle

Great detail!
Three weeks of patience and I finished building this great miniature for Christmas display. The battery I have to look for it’s not AA or AAA. The instructions are backwards - always build the house first before the interior. I had to go from the back of the booklet to the front but they came in English. Really happy with the end result and everyone loves it! So much detail and enough room to have some of your own creative choices as well!
