Castle Creations Phoenix Edge Lite 50 Amp ESC Building Kit with Datalogging

I run this in my 41" 3dhs Edge 540 and I absolutely love it. I used the free coupons in the box to get the Castle Link and the arm lock key and it shipped very quickly from castle. You can dial the settings to your exact liking. The data logging feature is nice, but I don't use it much since it requires unplugging the ESC from the receiver. I am picky, but this puppy checked all the boxes. Don't hesitate to buy.

ESC kit is lingo for “No connectors attached or included”.

The parameters that can be accessed with this ESC and the freely downloaded software are truly amazing. Governing head speed. Is the least it can do. Be sure you know what you are doing tho. With lots of help on Helifreak.com, I was able to set this up on a Blade 450X, with a Scorpion motor and now it just has almost too much power(at least for my limited abilities).

Castle makes some of the best ESCs on the market today however I think they are a little on the pricy side. I wish companies like this understood they could kill the competition if the prices where lower. I, like lots of people, still buy from them due to quality (yes, I'm part of the problem). 73 bucks for this is cheapest I've found.

The amount of options available (including data logging and motor reverse) are just incredible. I decided to finally checkout the data logging capabilities after a few flights. To my surprise, data for all of my flights was available.I highly recommend this ESC and will continue to buy for my planes.

I am a big fan of CC controllers. I have used them in many many planes and helicopters. They have always performed great. I also really like the programing software, it is very easy to use!

On time, no problems. This is my second Castle Creations ESC. The other was the Talon 35, a bit small.
