Just looking around at car fresheners and came across some of these. But I guess what made me purchase this brand over the others was what it was made of (metal) and the fast charging port. The three-way cable was a nice touch as well.I plugged this in and although you can't hear it working, I could tell that it was. I drive for one of the ride-share companies and the first night I had this plugged in I picked up a rider that seemed to have the distinct smell of weed on him. The last thing I want is to do him off and then pick up a new passenger and have the car smell of pot and have the rider think it's me.Well this little gizmo got rid of that smell in short order. It also doesn't seem to take away the scent of my air freshener (very good). I didn't use the one that came with this unit (which I did like, a kind of citrus scent).There is suppossed to be a fast charging port, but I couldn't tell which one it was after plugging my phone into both ports and getting the same time to a full charge.There were a couple of things that could've affected this outcome.1. I didn't use the cables provided.It's a cool idea, but they're too short to be of any real practical use being about 8", see attached picture.2. My phone already has the Type C port so I don't know if I was already at maximum charging speed and therefore it would show the same time on either port.While I had planned on writing a review of this product once given a chance to thoroughly use it, I have been getting emails from the company asking for review since I've had it for "X" number of days.I really hate to be pestered to write a review. I prefer to take my time, use the item for a bit, see how it performs for a few weeks before jumping on here and leaving a review that may turn out to be inaccurate.I did remove a star from the durability because the end piece, that is silver, is made of plastic and could probable break if given a good thump with a bottle.I Bought one for my friend, but she says that it doesn't seem to charge her iPhone as fast as her previous charger. I'm not sure what her charger is or if she's using the dedicated 3.0 port.

Bought two of these, one for my personal truck and one for my semi. And between both, I can't tell if they're working or not...My personal truck is brand new, so it still has that new vehicle smell to it. If this is supposed to wipe that out, then it failed (I like the new car smell anyhow so no big loss there lol). So, a week ago, I accidentally punctured a can of pb blaster inside the cab. If you know about pb blaster, it tends to linger quite awhile. This was already running in my truck, and in a few days the blaster smell was gone. Now I don't know if this did the job, or the fact that I drive with my windows partially open all the time. Either way, the smell was gone pretty quick.Aside from that, the 2 usb ports come in quite handy. The extra lighting is ok I guess, but isn't really needed. It doesn't get hot, I have them always on in both trucks and it never gets warm, so that's good.I can't say if its worth buying or not, but what's it going to hurt to have it in your vehicle? It's not horribly priced so I'd say try it out. If it works, definetly leave a review how long it took, and if you notice any significant odor changes. We all would like to know lol.

My dad is the car expert in our family so when my car died, I trusted him judgement on where to buy a used car and what kind to get. As always, he was spot on and the car has been amazing. What wasn’t amazing was the cigarette smell that permeated the whole vehicle when I first purchased it. I have a case of asthma that really only reacts strongly to one thing, cigarette smoke. I can do animal hair, pollen, even cold weather without really needing to use the inhaler. Cigarette smoke is really the only thing that makes it so bad that I HAVE to use the inhaler or i’m in physical pain. My co-worker suggested I use an air purifier as she has one for her car for her pollen allergies and it is the only thing that makes driving bearable for her in the spring and fall.I was optimistic but hesitant when I purchased this and did not believe it would be a magic cure that would instantaneously remove all of the cigarette smoke. Which is important because it wasn’t instantaneous. It took a couple of weeks for the smell to be mostly if not completely gone but it is gone and gone for good. While cigarette smoke is no longer a problem, I find that it helps remove the smell of food if someone is eating in the car. The charging ports are very convenient as it means I don’t have to remove it to charge my sister’s phone which always seems to be dying as I am driving her somewhere.It is definitely a worthwhile purchase!

There is no scent that it gives off, and I'm still not sure if it is eliminating other odors in the car. I haven't done the container filled with smoke test yet, but defiantly thinking about it. If it really is doing what it was billed to do, then I think it's pretty cool. It's just very difficult to tell. Could be I don't make very long trips often, and it needs a longer running time. I dunno, but I'll keep it going and see if some magic happens to confirm it's working. I do wish that there was a choice in the color of light it shines to let you know it has power going to it, but that's because I'm not a big fan of blue.
