Excellent fan choice for an Exhaust fan
I have two of these fans. Its best to use them as exhaust fans as that way you make the full use of the thermal control built into the fan. As it sucks the hot air through it will speed up based on the temperature of the air coming through. If you put it on the inlet side then you wont make the most of the fan as all it will sense is the temperature of the ambient air and will never speed up or slow down. These are very good fans and they shift alot of air at full speed. When operating at full tilt they are quite noisey but in my case the only time they really get up to speed is when the GPU and CPU are at full load and even then they are overclocked which only worsens the heating problem.Very good product! highly recommended

Replacement fan for Synology NAS
I bought this fan as a replacement for the on in my Synology DS210J NAS drive that ahd strated making a racket. Very good quality fan. It is 70x70x15 and is a good replacement for the one in the drive bay which is 70x70x25. It's reasonably quiet and shifts a fair bit of air.Fitting was a piece of cake. Opened up the nas, removed the fan, unplugged it fomr the mobo fan header and also removed the plastic header socket leaving 3 bare pins on the mobo. This one then just clipped right in, reattached to the case using the existing screws and taped down the fan cable and bingo. Nice quiet replacement/upgrade. I say upgrade as it appears much better and the hd temps ahve dropped. However I wouldn't have done this if the fan already in it wasn't on its way out.

Akasa AK-193BKT-C 92mm DC axial fan Black ...
Fitted this fan to the front air intake in the case, the power wires went onto a 3 pin connection on the motherboard and the fan is controlled by a temperature sensor on the fan, so keeps hard drives cool and runs very quite.

Pretty quiet
Used as a replacement PSU fan - moved plenty of air and was quieter than the original fan. Was supplied with molex to 3pin adapter which was a bonus as I used it for another fan in the system to free up a connector

Works well enough
Good 70mm fans are hard to find now, so I was pleased that this works well enough.
