Wonderful book.

This has become my all time favorite book! I have my copy and now order it for every child in the family - knowing that their parents will also read it, as they read to their children. The lesson of the power of pride, prejudice and war is put in a simple yet in such a powerful way as to be instructive to children and adults. What a perfect coffee table book! If anyone is waiting for you, it is perfect to pick up and get drawn in by the beautiful simple storyline and the watercolor pictures. The problem will be is when you return with their coffee before they are finished, they will want to borrow it! I also use this book for meditation. Some of the drawings are amazing in how they can relax and set the mood for meditation - and the writing is beautful in its flow. I use some of the lines of prose for meditation!

Every adult should read this book, maybe read it to a child too. Look at a person with a different face from a different place, with a different face, and see the people.

This book is just wonderful. My daughter is only a year and a half old but I was told about this book and got it for her. It is such a powerful message and I look forward to reading this to her for many years to come.

Beautiful story that the whole world needs to hear and understand.

This book is my favorite children's book. Though really, it is written for adults and children a like. I have given this book for birthday gifts, baby showers, and even to adult friends for various reasons. A MUST READ BOOK!! My daughter, when she was younger wrote a nice letter to the author, Mr. Douglas Wood for a literature contest. She won an honorary mention, and I forwarded to Mr. Wood. What a kind man, he replied! He has written a few other children's books, all equally as good, but this is by far the most thought provoking. READ IT, you wont be sorry.

A wonderful book that I used to read to my kids and now I share with my friends as they start having kids of their own. It's a beautiful lesson everyone should learn.

Not quite what I expected, but was very pleased with it and have lent it to our Minister, as I feel it has a good moral story to tell.
