When an Omega Snaps by Eve Langlais
When an Omega Snaps by Eve Langlais3rd book in the Lions Pride series. Can be read as a stand-alone paranormal romance.Silly, flaky Meena knows Leo is her mate from the first moment they meet. Leo sees her only as an assault to his well ordered life. This story is her antics at getting noticed and begging for Leo to bang her.The heroine doesn’t do much more than “Vex” Leo but it is kind of funny the way she pants after him. And vise versa. But no sex until married as promised to her father! That doesn’t really stop either from them doing other things up to that line.Crazy silly but also entertaining.I listened to the audio version narrated by Brian Rodgers. He does a good job on the pacing but his female voice is fake and high pitched. Ok, it does follow the script and his lion roar is amusing so I call it a win.

A Reading the Paranormal Review
Heh. I get SUCH A KICK (HA! I say this pretty much every book, BUT IT'S SO ACCURATE!) out of these guys. Leo's the "calming influence" in Arik's Pride. Actually, I probably didn't need to use quotes there. When we meet him, he is. He's the one that makes sure the others follow the rules and toe the line. He's predictable and mostly quiet and then Meena falls into his orbit.Almost literally because the girl is FANTASTICALLY accident prone. Or, well, maybe not accident prone so much as the epicenter that crazy things happen around. She's loud and boisterous and pretty much everything Leo isn't. So what does Leo do? He adapts. He gets a little crazy. Mostly when Meena's being threatened/pawed/whatever by other dudes. The guy has a jealous streak and he doesn't like to see his lady put in harm's way.Of course, first he has to reach the point where he actually considers her his lady and not just the insane firecracker bouncing from one disastrous event to another. It doesn't take long though before he's getting all snarly and in her business.Fun with slightly off-kilter characters (something I thoroughly enjoy in every Eve Langlais book) and a few brawls. I read this series out of order (just to be contrary, thankyouverymuch) and I DUG seeing Dimitri before he falls hard for his special someone. The guy's not very subtle and I kinda want to read his book all over again now.-Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal

The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between
Did you like Bringing Up Baby?: Because that’s kind of what this reminds me of, except the hero is the leopard (well, in this case a liger) instead of (just) the nerdy professor. Meena sweeps in and turns Leo, the Pride’s Omega, and his calm, orderly world upside down. He eventually loves it but it’s a bit of a battle. If you’re used to the shifter romance where it’s all about the hero’s pursuit of the heroine and insta-love, this is not necessarily the story for you. But there was never a time that I doubted Leo’s attraction for Meena, and when he goes all in, he goes ALL IN.Lots of humor and sexy times: Meena’s considered a catastrophe on two legs. Where she goes, Trouble follows - which coincidently is her sister’s nickname, but that’s another story. Anyway, there’s alot of humor throughout the book, which is why I love reading Ms. Langlais’ shifter romances. There’s a good mixture throughout the book - let’s just call it funny smut or smutty fun. Either way, I liked it.Wacky heroine: I loved that Meena didn’t have a confidence issue. Her motto is “Live for today, live for the moment, never let fear win.” She’s a Big (literally, over 6 feet tall with curves to match), Beautiful Woman. All caps. She knew she was awesome and even if she had a small moment of self-doubt, she didn’t let it get her down.
“Her inner lioness gave her a mental smack. Of course he wants you. Who wouldn’t? What the hell was up with the self-doubt? I’m awesome.”
There’s not enough of that in the world and I loved that she owned it all.Stoic hero: Leo’s the zen Omega. The one used to being obeyed. And if he’s a little bored with life because he has it so under control, well, he’s ok with that. Until Meena shows him how boring that is. He struggled and I wasn’t used to that in my shifter hero, but it grew on me.Simple story: There's no major action, it's fairly straightforward and fairly thin as far as plot. It's sweet and enjoyable but not particularly deeper than that. The Bottom LineI liked it. It’s a twist on the usual shifter romances and if you like a little screwball comedy (but not too much) and a hero who plays hard to get, you may like this.

Laugh Out Loud
Oh the giggles that ensued while reading this book. Meena is unlike any of Eve Langlais’ other heroines and she was an absolute riot. I have read almost all of her books and I can honestly say, I think Meena is now my favorite.Leo is such a laid back type of lion and these two are such polar opposites, it just makes this couple even more fun to read. Leo is the one getting everyone out of trouble, the calming voice of reason, so to speak. Meena is trouble incarnate. Wherever she is, trouble is sure to follow. When she meets Leo, she is determined (like REALLY determined) to make him see that they are a perfect match. Sparks fly, chaos arises, and the fur flies. The situations that this character gets herself into and the stories of her own childhood antics had me chuckling. Leo is fighting, fang and claw, to not cave in and take her as his mate, even though his liger is all in.“I’m sure I could find something else to eat.” She practically purred the words in his ears.Surely that unmanly “eep” didn’t come from him?It never fails to surprise me how much fun I have reading one of Eve’s books. I dare anyone to read one of her books and not laugh. Her characters come to life, her dialogue is spot on with the situation, and the passion is so hot, it jumps off the pages. Seriously, read her books and find out for yourself. I’ve already pre-ordered the next book because I seriously cannot wait to see what trouble Teena, Meena’s twin sister gets herself into.

Loved Leo!
Eve Langlais is a automatic one click author for me, love this series, love the hot alpha men and no nonsense kick ass women. This third instalment is just as good as the first two, loved Leo from the very first book. He's the no nonsense, head cracking Omega of the pack. Loved his self denial from the start, I liked that it took abit longer for him to come round to Meena's way of thinking. Meena is a strong, sassy, smart women who was surprising soft at heart with the same internal struggles as women with a lot less apparent self confidence. I loved that she wasn't put off with Leo's initial reluctance and just kept pushing and pushing. My only complaint is that I would of loved to have a little more interaction with Arik and Hayder and their mates, although that's just my own selfish needs of wanting to know exactly how the previous books characters are getting on.Loved the very last few pages and am counting down the days until the next book!

Chaos, Games and Consequences
Omega Leo sees visitor Meena as he tells her off for playing frisbee indoors. Within a few minutes, her reply is that he is her mate.Leo likes order and calm, while Meena causes trouble wherever she goes. The only reason she is visiting is a determined ex boyfriend who won't take no for an answer.Quite a few disagreements, fights and jealousy, confusion about an identical twin and demands to treat his daughter properly before all ends well.

Good
I have to admit that this wasn't my favourite of Eve's books. Having said that, I did still really enjoy it. I loved Meena with her bouncy, irrepressible personality and accident prone ways. It was a good book and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

Good read
I really enjoyed this. The characters were very animated which added to the humour. Loved that Meena was a snarky, blunt and humorous heroin and that Leo was her perfect match. Hope to read more about them in Teena and Dimitri's story.

... to all of Eve Langlais's releases and normally I love her writing style
I look forward to all of Eve Langlais's releases and normally I love her writing style, humour and quirky characters, but the heroine in this book left me cold. She was selfish, unpredictable, pushy and I really couldn't see why the hero or anyone else would fall for her. I gave up half way through the book.

Sassy v steady - easy to know who will win
A fun tale with a sassy determined female lead and a steady, big-hearted male. Loved the ups and downs as the wooing progressed. Delicate doesn't always mean little - sweet. Thought 'Daddy' was fabulous and mom at the wedding rofl! Enjoy.
