Absolutely Awesome Book!
This book is well written for everyone. It makes sense to those who don't know Jesus as well as to those who have walked with Jesus their whole lives. It is also very easy to understand. Hal Seed has a style of writing that acknowledges your doubts and answers questions you've always had. I definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I love my Sunday!
Pastor Hal hit it on the head! It's so true, Sunday has been pushed to the side for to long. It is the day that was made to worship and reflect to the Lord. We have taken his advise and made Sunday the best day of our week. We areUchida more in tune with our God and our family. It was a awesome read!

A small book with big-impact potential
This book came to me when my affection for Sundays was at a low ebb. Consequently I approached it with more than a little skepticism. Could it really make a difference in my own experience? I doubted it.The reasons for my Sunday angst are multiple, and many of them are beyond my control. But what I Love Sundays showed me was that at least some of those reasons are under my control, and while I can do nothing about the others, I can do something about these. And so, following suggestions in I Love Sundays, I have. And lo and behold, my Sundays are the happier for it.For such a little book (about 5″x5″ and 100 very concise pages), it’s made quite a big impact, chiefly changing the way I approach the pinnacle of my week, as it’s meant to be. For instance, I now actively prepare our home for Sundays. What does this look like? It means I prepare on Saturday a well-rounded breakfast that I simply pop into the oven Sunday morning. This way there’s no rushing to get breakfast on the table before church. (Though I confess, rushing still occurs in plenty of other places.)In a similar vein, in what has become my new favorite weekend practice, I’m returning to the time-honored tradition of preparing on Saturday our midday Sunday dinner. (Whenever I’m working in the kitchen, I think of the hundreds of generations of good Jewish women who likewise did their Sabbath meal preparation the day before so that they might rest on the Sabbath. I rather like the feeling that I’m joining their ranks.) I set the dining room table ahead of time with our good china and crystal so that throughout the day on Saturday I can experience the joy of anticipating the good meal that awaits. At that meal, which is a notch above the standard weekday fare, the candles are lit and the kids are treated to sparkling cider, while my husband and I may enjoy a glass of wine. We make the experience an occasion. When dinner is over, my family helps with cleanup, and then my kitchen work for the weekend is basically done. (Everyone gets to fend for themselves when hunger strikes again.)My husband and I are also now far more intentional about enforcing Sunday as a day of rest. No one does work or homework on Sundays anymore. We avoid arduous chores as well, and I take a break from social media. What all of this achieves for us is a far more restful Sunday pace that allow us to enjoy God’s presence in ways we cannot when hurry defines our day.I Love Sundays offers other suggestions too, many of them more directly related to the church experience. I’ve implemented some of these with some success. Do these changes solve all of my Sunday woes? No (not yet), but they have elevated my attitude–which I believe puts me in a better position for tackling the issues that remain. That is my hope, anyway, and in the meantime, I’m a whole lot closer to loving Sundays the way God intends. Thanks to Veritas Communications for providing me a free copy to review. This book is interesting, practical, & relatable!
This book is fantastic! It's an easy read and you can almost read the whole thing in one sitting. I love the simple truths that are proclaimed here. He uses relatable examples and real life stories to make it interesting and applicable. It turned my view of Sunday's upside down and I've already begun living some of the principles out!

Great message for a crazy busy world
A much needed message for today's chaotic world. This very powerful lesson on God's direction for us is communicated very simply by Hal Seed. An easy read, but the message is life changing. Highly recommend no matter what your view is on God.
