California Olive Ranch, Everyday Fresh California Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 16.9 fl oz (500 ml)

This was our first time ordering this olive oil. We really like it. We’re kind of disappointed though because we ordered two large bottles and they both expire in December. When I see this brand at the grocery store they have at least a year expiration date so must’ve been sitting around a long time

Yes this isn't the best but its okay . Delivery was fast and neat : )

Initially the seller had this listed as the 100% California blend, so I purchased thinking it was that (they have since fixed the listing). I'm happy with the purchase, and while not nearly as good as the California blend, it's miles better than anything found in most US supermarkets.

Fresh EVOO just as advertised

I use standard olive oil (or vegetable, grapeseed or avocado oil) to sautee/cook in a pan (and occasionally coconut oil). Standard olive oil is a solid cooking medium (as are the other oils listed above) but many oils lose a lot of flavor during the cooking process, even if you cook over medium heat (with good cookware -- All Clad, Viking, Calphalon, Circulon, Le Creuset -- that's all you need). When you serve dishes and want to infuse olive oil flavor, using a quality extra virgin olive oil is important. And this is the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil I've tried within reason. There are incredibly pricey EVOO options out there, California Olive Ranch is not only reasonably priced, tasty, well-made and high quality, but is really wonderful and it's better than any other oil I've tried. If you're unsure about this, two things to keep in mind: first, America's Test Kitchen chose this in a blind taste test as their favorite olive oil, and second, a small bottle of it is reasonable enough to try it and not feel bad if it doesn't blow you away. On occasion, they allow tastings of COEVOO in markets -- but I'd recommend trying this in a small size and go from there.Also, I transfer a small amount to a bottle so I can dispense the olive oil separately, but the packaging is dark green to protect the product rather than show off its beauty.Any brand that is more interested in protecting its product than prettying it up has my vote and my dollars.

This is a very good product. It is not a finishing oil, but an excellent everyday olive oil.

I thought the taste of olive oils was pretty much the same, but I can definitely taste the difference of this product. I also like that the label includes an expiration date for best flavor.JQ

I've been buying this for many years--until I discovered it at my supermarket for less than half the price! It's great stuff. Just buy it somewhere else.
