The Hound of the Baskervilles & the Valley of Fear [Paperback] Arthur Conan Doyle

I’ve seen so many TV and film adaptations of The Hound of the Baskervilles, but never read it until a few weeks ago. Couldn’t put it down. A real classic. Valley of Fear is also a great read.

These books are manufactured to a size and style that is very attractive to hold, The author and stories are of course, well known The binding, paper, print and gold-edging is very nice , Iv'e bought the whole Holmes collection by this Publisher, and are reading them all. very handy pocket size.

One of his best.

The Valley of Fear loosely based on the Molly Maguires, although they are regarded as heroes and not as depicted by Conan Doyle. But then he was writing for a lower middle-class English market.

Although I know the story well it is still a great read.
