Excellent alternative to buying a separate frame for touring!
excellent! rode across France on a Specialised Allez using this rack and two panniers. (Allez is a sports frame without screw points for panniers)Rear axle works fine, and isnt too aqward to remove wheel. No damage to frame (where it clamps on!) after 900 miles..... Excellent alternative to buying a separate frame for touring!

Fits my 29er...just, but happy
I have a 29er wheel too, and although it clears the tyre just it still fits as I require it to, and when fully loaded up acts as a mud guard too, but don't forget to put some tarp below your crap that you are securing to it....

Top Rack
I always chose cheap, lighter weight racks. They would invariably fail at the joints. This rack is very substantial, very light and well made.

Fits around disc brakes easily
Handles discs well and also attaches easily to frames without dedicated rack mounts. These were my two requirements and the rack meets them. Also seems to be well made and sturdy.

Not for 29er mountain bikes
With the intention of going bike packing on my Specialized 29er lugless hardtail, I thought this rack would be the pertfect solution. It didn't work out though. Whilst 700c compatibility is claimed, this does not cover 29er mountain bikes. Once fitted to my bike (with 29x2.1 tyres) gave about 2mm clearance, thus was not suited to offroad use.I had to return the item. Would be fine for 26" hardtail even with 26x2.3....

Buena calidad
Es bastante sólido y resistente.El portabultos en su parte de abajo se apoya en el eje pasante como se puede observar, pero hay que decir que en el paquete vienen también las pletinas con ranuras perforadas que hacen la sujeción por arriba, a la parte del cuadro.

Good rack, excellent customer service
This rack was the only one that would work with both my spouse's disc brakes and our child seat, so we had our hands tied in terms of options. There was an issue with stocking/shipping, and the customer service of this seller was outstanding. They helped resolve the issue and get a new rack sent to us.The rack arrived quickly after the initial mixup was resolved. My partner has been able to carry our 2yo without any issue now!

No problems. I like it.
Easy to install, works great, and looks great.I'm glad I chose this rack and would recommend.

Price effective solution for Disc brake applications
This is one possible solution for bikes with disc brakes and no mounts for a rear rack. I only gave this 4 Starts for the following reason:1. The mount for a reflector or rear light is just a metal strap around the rear of the rack. It is not really an "engineered" solution, but looks more like a cheap afterthought. Any company making a product for Bicycle Road use should make this kind of thing a higher priority - even if it is an accessory that is bought separate.2. The brake side did not clear my disk caliper, so I had to add a washer to the brake side... Now the skewer has a little less thread in the nut than I'd like.3. The M5 bolts for attaching the "straps" that hold the upper front of the rack are either really long, or just barely long enough... The provide 10mm or 25mm long bolts... either will work, but I preferred 12mm long for a cleaner install - I got the 12mm bolts from the hardware store.4. Last, the holes in the mounts for the skewer are larger than they need to be (IMHO), this may allow for more adjustment, but makes the fit subject to slipping.
