I ordered this on February 11 2018, I am writing this review on July 20 2018. So I have had this thing for 5 months. It is very pretty, it is a good height to support my wrists while I type and the underside is very not skid.HOWEVER... one month or so ago I noticed s glob of something on my desk. I eat at my desk and though maybe it was a bit of food I'd missed while cleaning up, I also have cats so it could have been something they found and left as a gift, I honestly could not tell what it was but it was ticky and gross. I scoured my desk with disinfectant and went back to work.Then I found more a week later, and yesterday I found a BUNCH of whatever it was, very close to the keyboard rest. I checked the wrist rest to make sure non had gotten on it, only to discover that the stuff was coming out of a hole on the rest itself... the gel filling was coming out in small globs. I duct taped it up, to stop the worst of it, But this is not a comfortable solution as it hot and the duct tape is irritating and right where my wrist goes. While taping it up I noticed it was also starting to develop a similar hole on the other side., so now the areas where you naturally rest your wrists are both covered in tape.For the price I spent, I would really have liked this thing to last longer than five months. It's too late I am sure to ask for a refund or get them to send a replacement, but I felt like I should come here and warn people that this thing is not built to withstand use. The fabric is coming away from the base on the edge because it is glued down along the edge, with maybe a tiny overlap of fabric on the edge of the skid resistant base. From the points of failure I can easily see that the whole thing is just going to fall apart. The mouse pad seems to be holding up so far, but the construction on the seam is exactly the same, so I am sure it's only a matter of time before that starts oozing goop as well.

I bought this for use at my desk at work. I had another 1 for several years and it was still functional. I mainly wanted this one for the mouse pad wrist rest. After 4 months, of use, I started getting what look like little balls of mucus stuck to my hands. The gel has started leaking out of the keyboard wrist rest.The mouse pad is still fine.Now that I am writing my own review, I am seeing several others with the same issue. It looks like it takes several months to figure out what a crappy product this is.Don't buy it unless they have improved their manufacturing process.

Originally, I bought this product because I needed something to rest my wrist when typing at work. For the first week or two it was working fine but after the third week, I started seeing the gel coming out from the side. I didn't mind it since my wrist was comfortable but then I started seeing another whole coming out, I just had to throw it away because I was getting tired of cleaning the gel residue every day. (**see pictures.)On the other hand, the wrist support for the mouse works perfectly.Overall, It is comfortable but meant to last.

I love the gel wrist rest. I had a purple one (my daughter came to organize Mom and I have no clue where she put it). I ordered a black one of the same style (purple wasn't available). I was so tired of looking at the same black mouse pad. I ordered a pretty mouse with flowers (that is in the picture). I picked this Rose design pad because it matched my mouse. I am so tickled at the feminine, "all together look" of the two complimenting one another. It's eye catching, not boring black. I like looking at it even walking past the table. It looks so good, it even makes me want to keep the table neat and cleaned off to be as organized as my mouse and new pad look. It's as comfortable as the others. I love the gel support for the wrist. Snow is on the way again, so it's nice to have the pretty flowers to look at. Plus, Valentine's is coming up, so it suits for February as well as spring and summer. In winter, it's just nice to see the flowers that I don't have outside this time of year. The colors (artwork) are detailed, bright, and shiny. All of the flowers and leaves are two toned shades (example: the leaves are darker green on the inside and lighter green on the edges). The 2 tone coloring of the roses makes them look real and almost 3D. I'm very pleased. It's a pad that catches your attention-draws your eyes to it. I know that when my grand daughter comes to visit, she's going to say, "Nana, you got a new mouse pad. I like it. It's pretty". It has the slip resistant bottom as well. The best part was seeing the vibrancy of the colors when I saw it in the pack. The comfort is no less than any other gel pad that I have had. Yes, it cost $3.00 more than one with no design. But, when you are going to look at and use something every day of the week, why not make it fun. It's like printed paper towels versus plain white boring ones. Again, the colors are vibrant and the gel wrist support is extremely comfortable! Thank you for giving me every pennies worth! Also, there are many designs to choose from that are also beautiful (mountain scenes, etc.). I chose this one because it matched my mouse.

Bought this set around Christmas time. The gel on the inside of the wrist rest is coming out. I very rarely even use this pad. Beautiful print, but waste of money. The tiniest piece of the gel leave sticky goop. I have gel boogers all over my desk and cant get the residue off. The mouse pad is fine though and I use itevery day, so I'm not sure why the other piece is falling apart.

This mouse pad is like Gandalf the White! I didn't really believe that it would make a difference in my work environment and thought it might even feel painful or weird. Boy was I high when I thought that! It has alleviated a lot of my wrist pain and I find myself resting my hand on it even when I'm not using my mouth. It has straightened out the alignment of my hand and I'm no longer lowering my wrist while working with my mouse. I can absolutely tell the difference if I'm on my normal mouse pad @ home; it's good (Gandalf the Grey) but it ain't great. I need to buy another one for my home office and for my mom. If you're hesitating, don't. You will be punching yourself in the face that you didn't buy it sooner (don't actually do that; it would be stupid). Buy it and your wrist will thank you.
