I absolutely loved everything about these caramels, from the taste to the packaging, as a cake baker I know a lot of care and love went into making those candies please don’t stop making these wonderful candies, they are amazingly delicious, I just can’t say enough about how much we love these! These caramels are delicious. They are so creamy. You will love them.

The caramel is absolutely delicious, creamy and soft. But the packaging was not appropriate. They came in a brown envelope and the box of caramel inside had broken open and all the caramels were just loose in the envelope.

I love licorice. Always have. So do my sisters. I purchased this as a gift for one of them not knowing if it was good or not. This is her texted response:"Well Sis I'm sorry to say but, I urge u to never again purchase the pioneer valley black licorice caramels. Theyhave such an unpleasant twang to them that it tastes like you're eating medicine. After 1 bite I should b healed of something 😆"

For the price, I would've expected a more 'boutique' experience, but instead they took two weeks to arrive and were shipped in a plastic bag. Inside the bag the actual candy box was crushed and torn, and the candy was loose and smashed. Oh, the actual taste of the licorice caramels? They're.....OK.

Slightly more expensive per ounce than 1 pound bag competition but much better taste & texture.

Soft and chewy.
