Just the job!
Good pair of shears for the money, nice and sharp. A little on the heavy side but for the price can’t complain too much. Arrived promptly and well packaged, five stars to the seller.

Well made and does the job
Possibly a bit long for me (I’m 5’ 4”) but I’m doing quite well with it

Not usable
I got this product two years ago and now is not working. It is a bit on the long side and slightly heavy. The main bolt holding the two part broke and now unusable. I don’t think I used it more than 20 times! Disappointed by the design, quality and now it is out of warranty.

Disappointed with blades
Good length which makes them easy to use without bending. However, was disappointed with the bluntness of the blade.

Easy to use
Bought for use where grass grows very near bushes and plants. Easy to manoeuvre around and under plantings, cutting edge is well tooled and sharp. Weight is balanced, and neither heavy or light. Great value for money and I suspect with good care & oiling will last for many years.

Unlucky not to get 5 stars!
Perhaps because I’m used to using lawn shears with round arms & handles, I found these “narrow oval” ones a bit odd. I’ve got big hands too, so they just don’t feel ergonomic. So, maybe a bit unfair to give them 4 stars as their overall length is great (I’m 6ft) and they cut beautifully, added to the fact that they were delivered much sooner that expected and were a competitive price (with free delivery). Overall, I would recommend these.Edit: they’re bright lime green not dark green as the in product photos!

Cheap & Cheerful
Was looking for cheap shears to tidy up around the allotment, so decided to buy these as Draper is a reputable company and price seemed fair for what I was looking for.However, having used these to trim around the allotment was very disappointed with the quality. The handles are so flexible if you try cutting a significant amount of grass, so have to resort to cutting a few blades of grass at a time which takes longer than with hand shears. They also feel heavy, surprising bearing in mind the poor quality handles.Sorry to say That I will not recommend to anyone.
