Mediocre drive
The biggest problem is that my laptop doesnt always recognize the drive or will randomly disconnect in the middle of the movie. I've also had trouble with it recognizing and playing blurays. Sometimes they wont show up at all, and when they do they tend to lag and buffer a lot.

Dont set your laptop down in a dark tent
I bought this to use on a full hd windows tablet and reads not recognised so had to buy a 300 dollar touchscreen as set my laptop in a dark tent in some water did finally get it working today april 25 2020 as got internet finally and researched blueray player add to laptop it is a app, and was a struggle but did run and so thrilled saved all the trouble of geek squad, is new 900 buck Samsung spin notebook 7 on need usb 3 and runs that 300 buck one a chair smashed the screen,

It's ok except for the two wire hook up
Didn't like the fact it has two wires to plug in.

This thing is going back
I finally got this in the mail on December 29th. 90% of the time my computer doesn't even recognize that it is plugged in . It is supposed to be plug and play. However, the directions that come with it say to insert the disk if it doesn't install the drivers automatically yet it doesn't come with a disk to install the drivers. I have spent two days fighting to get this thing to work - finally got it to play one movie then it quit again.

Will not recognize any blu-ray disc.
My laptop saw it right away and it plays DVD's quite well. It WILL NOT recognize a blu-ray disc at all. I tried 3 different disc in the player and it just says "No Disc Installed". Is there a firmware update for this drive anywhere? I am going to research it a bit, but as of right now, it looks like a return.

Plug and Play
Great drive! It worked as soon as I plugged it in. No drivers to load or techno-geek rigamaroll. Just plug it in and and start using it like any other drive.

Make sure you do not miss place the cord
I use this all the time to watch movies on my computer. It is awesome!
