Great Land O Lakes Book
I go to Land O Lakes several times every year and love the area. I did not know the rich history of the town until I read this book. I love the old photo's. Pair this book with a trip to the Land O Lakes Historical Society to see even more photo's. For anyone that loves history, old photo's and the north woods, this book is a great gem!Author Chris Wodke, Running for My Life-0 Winning for CMT

It's a beautiful area and the photographs bring the old times there ...
A very informative book on the history of a quaint town with interesting history of the logging days. It's a beautiful area and the photographs bring the old times there back to life. I highly recommend it for anyone going to the area.

Book is OK but could be better
This book is mostly pictures and not much narrative. There could have been more about the Native American's who lived in the area before it was settled. Not much about the early lumber camps and almost nothing about the resorts in the area. Also, either there was some poor proof reading or he got his geography mixed up. The little continental divide is to the east of Land O Lakes not west.

Only Some of the Story
Had hoped for a few more words and less photos. Very little on the Sylvania area, just over the border in Michigan.
