Paper is beautiful and thick. Papermate flair pens (felt tip) do not bleed through and write very smoothly due to smooth surface. Cover is durable, hasn't peeled/curled or even shown wear - I carry this everywhere at work and tote it around in a full backpack when its not in use. M previous go-to was Moleskine, but those get beat up s o quickly and the paper is too thin for flair felt tip pens. I did have to glue the ribbon bookmark back into the spine (there are 2 which is awesome for keeping my current place as well as another reference page, way more useful than I ever reallized. didn't know how much I needed the two bookmark ribbons until I had them, and i'm not going back!) since i was a little rough with it and it was only tacked in with some double stick tape. I just squeezed some e90 glue into the spine and smushed, but had to glue again with superglue to really fix it. I preemptively superglued the ribbon into the spine on the second book. The perforations are cleanly cut and very easy to tear along without ripping the page, but they only tear out if you want them to. No accidental perforation-tearing or separation even with rough handling, even when it fell and I had to grab it midair by the single page. When you do tear out a page, everything comes out cleanly and fairly easily - just don't yank, guide it out with even force. The fact that you get 2 is awesome - I've stopped shopping around for an ideal meeting/tasks work notebook. Minimal design, exceptional performance, incredibly functional. These are already in my cart again since I'm on the second one.

Initially I was in love, then dissapointed, then in love again! When I recieved these in the mail I was blown away by the beautiful thick paper and the soft grey color of the outside, and it was great. They lay flat nicely and also tear out well for when you want to take a page on the go or need scrap paper for notes. This being said, after about a week of usage the band that held it together snapped :( i ripped it off completely to make the notebook more usable and it was not difficult at all to remove it, which makes me believe that the glue was not strong at all. That being said, I mentioned it to the company when they said their follow up email and they overnight shipped another pack of 2 to my door no questions asked so I now have four notebooks, one currently being used without the elsatic strap. The strap, though nice to have, is not vital to the functionality of the notebook and I am happy with the quality of the rest of it and the customer service is phenomenal! All in all, knowing that the company is dedicated to making their customers happy and pleasant to deal with when there is a problem, I would definitely buy these again!

I journal Everyday for the last 7 years and this is the perfect width and dimension to carry around in the bag and also at home. Not too small, not too large, not too thin and not too thick. I don't even know how many times I bought this note books. Jan 2024 : adding a note, last 2 note books, the elastic came off. It used to not happen. I really wish it stays on it so I keep buying it.

I buy these repeatedly for journalling. I appreciate the size, line spacing, and elastic band for keeping it closed. It’s got a minimalistic appearance, reasonably professional, but not showy.

These notebooks are nice and the paper does not bleed thru when using pens that bleed thru other types of paper. My strap eventually broke as well as mentioned in reviews but it lasted much longer than any review I had read. I did not care about the strap though so that wasn’t a big deal. The paper is of good quality and you can easily tear a sheet out with the perforations. If you’re looking for a notebook that isn’t affected by pen bleeding this is a nice choice.

I've been buying this product for two years now; I go through about 1 book per month. They are great! To my knowledge (and I have searched!) there is no other product on the market of this size where all the pages are perforated. I use them quite hard - moving between home office and work, and I find them to be perfectly durable. I remove about 50% of the pages (lots of zoom calls, lots of file folders) and the notebooks hold up extremely well.
