We have two horses who are in getting older even though they still look young. When one of them started having problems with her joints, we looked for a good product. Our horses have taken Pennwoods equine vitamins for years, but we looked at all joint supplements available. After extensive reading and talking to our vet, we landed back with Pennwoods. All the recommended components were there. Our first batch showed signs of helping, but we had to mix it with applesauce to get her to take it. With the second batch we noticed a change in the texture and were able to mix it in her food. She has been running freely without limping. It is a delight to see her galloping easily for dinner or to go in the pasture. Her brother has had neck problems which we were told was neurological. He couldn’t turn circles normally and he had limited rang of movement in his neck. His neck would get where he couldn’t raise his head easily, so I would give him bute (as prescribed) and massage his neck muscles. Apparently this has helped more than we could have imagined because there has been a huge improvement with him too. I saw him reach his back haunch to scratch recently!
