Soooo comfortable!
Bought to replace the standard Raleigh ones on my new ebike which I found slippery and uncomfortable. Easy to fit and look very smart. But more importantly they are very comfortable as they stop your hand slipping round the handlebars especially when it's very hot and sweaty. The rubberised supports mean the the fleshy part below your wrist has something to rest on which prevents you having to grip so tightly. Perfect!

Save your wrists
I broke my wrists numerous years ago. Standard grips make my wrists ache after an hour, these take the pressure off the wrist and put the weight on my palms, making riding so much better. I have bought 3 sets in total, one for each bike.

Very nice grips
Very good, easy to fit & I really like the way they are easy to adjust the angle of fit once fitted so as to optimise comfort.

Caused ulnar nerve problem
The bike shop chose these for me as the 'best match' to replace my Specialized BG Contour Locking Grips. Just a 45 minute ride home was sufficient for me to reject these grips outright. One week post-ride and suffering excruciating ulner nerve pain near the outer side of my left hand, I know I was right to reject them but I just wish that I'd never met them.I have a history of carpal tunnel syndrome which is more or less in remission now and I have learned over the years to avoid 'ergo' things - including padded and gel mitts - because they actually aggravate my condition. However, I foolishly rejected my gut instinct on this learning and gave these a go.I find the Specialized Contour grips pretty slippy in hot weather and I was curious if these'd be any different. They were not. In addition, I found the wing or platform too deep and I felt like this encouraged a riding attitude that is too leisurely for my style of riding which tends to be quite nippy and competitive.I'm pretty sure that just a short ride has caused a very painful ulnar nerve problem so I would not recommend these grips. The grips are not attractive and look like a disability aid. It's a firm 'no' from me. I put the old Contour grips back on the bar and am happy to be rid of the Ergon grips. Goodness only knows what the prognosis is regarding this hideous hand pain.
