Presta Valve Adapter - Convert Presta to Schrader - French/UK to US - Inflate Tire Using Standard Pump or Air Compressor

They're cheap, so that's good
Overall I'm not a huge fan. The problem is that the wall thickness precludes the inflator's pin from depressing the valve stem. Admittedly, both I tried were made for automotive-style schrader valves, but isn't that the point of an adapter?I was able to solve the problem by re-drilling the center. After taking off just a fraction of a millimeter they work fineWould not purchase again.***My Rating Criteria***Build Quality(47.5%) - 3.0 StarsEfficacy(47.5%) - 2.0 StarsPost-Sale Support(0.0%) - n/aPackaging/Presentation(5.0%) - 4.0 StarsWEIGHTED AVERAGE(100.0%) - 2.6 STARS

These don't work.
As other purchasers have found, I was unable to get these adapters to seal. That is pretty much their only job. Not much else to say, really.

I hate these and all others as well
I guess the question is why are these stupid things necessary in the first place, especially for utilitarian mountain bikes and such. Just a pain. And why do bike tires spontaneously go flat anyway? No bubbles, no holes...probably out of the bogus little valve, but only at night it seems. Well, at least these are colorful and cheap so I can stash them on my bike and near the compressor and can find one when needed. BTW, it is 2020 and bikes have been around for 200 years. Somebody go figure out how to keep air in the tires.

Did the job for my bike with Presta valves...
Had an issue with a couple of there adapters, the threads were off a bit and would not tighten down on the Presta valves, however the ones that did work, worked well and looked great (my bike is blue too). Recommended if you want to use a regular tire pump or pressure gauge. Glad there were a couple extra.

No quality control
Shipping was quick, I'll give them that .But the product quality was terrible ! Two of the adapters that go on the valve stem were totally useless . They would go on to the valve but the external ( male ) threads were so deformed that the cap would never go on . It's hard to believe that no one noticed this do to the fact they were external threads ! Believe me ,it was very obvious ! Well at least I got to use two of the four they sent me. Oh and BTW. why would they sell you only two caps when there are four adapters !

They don't work - don waste your money
These don't seal around the stem. They leak at both the valve stem and the fitting of the air pump. I went and picked up the same type of adapters from the local bike shop for comparison. The part that fits in the pump fitting is way too small on these amazon adapters. I can get one to work out of the package but it is finiky to make it seal properly. Might as well burn your money in the backyard if you are going to buy these.

Pretty Good
They don't fit that great, so the presta valve stem has a tendency to continue to leak air every once in awhile when checking air pressure or something but I just put the gauge back on and take it off real fast and it aligns again and stops. There seems to be some added resistance when adding air via pump also, but it's not really a big deal. I've put plenty of hard miles on these things with zero problems on the trail.

Electric air pump hose pops off valve too easily
I bought this valve so I could use my electric air pump to fill up my racing tires. After about 45-50 lbs of pressure, the hose pops off. Never had that issue before with a Schrader valve. I ended up partially solving the issue by wrapping the top of the valve with electrical tape. Now the hose pops off between 75-80 lbs which is close enough.Update 2021: I went into a bike shop this weekend after some A-Hole stole my inflator and Presta converter from my bike bag. When I went into a local bike store to replace everything, I saw a container on the counter with Presta converters for 2 bucks each. This held pressure to 85 pounds which is where I set the limit on my pump. These are made by Innovations, part# G3612 and wish I had bought these the first time.

Adapts
It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I have an air pump that I didn't want to replace at this time but I have Presta valves on my new bike. It was easy enough to figure out how to put the adapter on to add air and take off to close the valve. I also purchased the presto tops that this same company purchases as I was missing a cap.

Simple and effective
We have a foldable bike bought from the US. When I went to inflate the tires after a year of storage, I found they don't use schrader valves like every other tire I've seen.Did a little research and it seems they're Woods/Dunlop valves. A quick search and I found these little adapters to be able to use a car tire pump to inflate the tires. They work like a charm. Light weight, and colourful.

Only 1 of the 5 adapters fit with my pumps
These adapters feel and look nice but unfortunately when I attempted to screw the pump hose onto the adapter only 1 of the 5 threaded properly. The other 4 would not screw in easily and in one case one of the adapters would not screw on at all unfortunately.

Do not buy..
These are absolute garbage. Would return, but lost one. The tolerances are all different. 1 worked out of the entire pack, all the other ones dont make a connection with the hose, they just slide out.

Satisfied.
This seems so be a good product. I also purchased valve caps from 'bike bits' and I feel it was good value for the price.I leave the caps connected to my bicycle pump most of the time but you could also leave them on your bike.
