Chicken feeder
I already loved this feeder because I bought one a few years ago at my local feed store. I thought my feed bags were 40lbs so when I filled my new feeder I discovered that it is a little small for the entire bag. I plan to trade feeder’s when they eat it all.The feeder is amazing and the service was great as well. Thank you

Good but could be better
Overall I like this feeder but it does have its flaws that are easily fixed. I lost 4 chickens because the feeder didn’t allow the feed to come out and the chickens got their heads stuck under the round feeding divider reaching for any morsel of food they could get. I feed, what is defined as crumbles, with most pieces about half the size of bb’s. Even though the original manufacturing left 1/4 inch for the feed to trickle out of, in my experience it isn’t enough. I solved the problem by doing two things. 1) removed the dividing feeder2) cut about 3/8 inch off the neck of the tank that holds the feed.Since I’ve done this, no chickens have gotten stuck and the feed continuously flows without having to shake the feeder.Even after these two modifications I see no wasted feed.

Love so much I bought a 2nd and want another
Used to use bowls for my ducks and the sparrows would eat more than they did. With these I can fill it up with feed, corn or a mix and know that while they can still get to it they don't eat that much. Only thing I didn't keep on was the ring that has holes because my ducks are Muscovy and I was worried they would injure their crunclea esp since I show. Which is another thing I love, the peace of mind knowing they won't run out of feed while I am gone a few days.. I just need someone to tend to their water because well.. they're waterfowl.I do use under cover because I am not sure how water wouldn't run down into the feed or if side rain.. would be nice to have a rain guard to screw under the lid. So far with a few sleeping perched on top though, poo hasn't gotten into food! Another plus from having bowls!Only tip have is don't screw the lid super tight esp in winter because will be hard to open esp in winter.. so far other than once when they were squabbling once and let 1st one go empty they haven't knocked any of them over.

Works well.
Works well. Keeps the feed in. Took a couple days for all my chickens and turkeys to get used to it. I do not have it covered but after it rained the tray in the bottom didn't have any water in it. Had to unclog where the feed comes out because that got damp and then hardened, but the feed in the top was completely dry. Only thing I wish it had was an adjustable dispenser, like others have said. Have to shake it down fairly often as the feed gets stuck and won't freely fall.

Needs some improvements for bad weather, otherwise good product.
It is great for a bigger flock of birds, accessibility and ease of setup but needs some screws to keep the legs on and in the right position. Also, it does NOT work well if left out in the rain/snow as the water will run down the barrel and right into the feed tray. Needs a protective cover either on top or right above the tray portion to not collect all the water running down it.Easy to assemble, clean and disinfect. Feed portioning tray removable. Not vermin proof.

Great!
It is thick and sturdy plastic. I tried it out and the funnel thing is too close to the red plastic bottom so I count two rings about it and food comes out a lot better and quicker. 4 stars and is high for bantams but I lay wood around for them to step on to reach. This is good and a lot better than the watered this company makes which overfills
