The best mat. Bought in 2015 and still good. Very good quality and a truly non slip surface. I would like a 48"x 48" version if there is one.

Yes.it's performance is quite satisfactory.Only you can have these in assorted colours too.And larger in length.Bit more costly.I have also purchased some cheaper varieties from local market.Have spread them on bathroom floor.The nagging fear of slippage on floor is no more there.You see lot of accidents happen to senior people as well as ladies due to slippage on bathroom floor.I will highly recommend the product for every household.Many thanks.Regards,B K Panda

There are cheaper anti-skid bathroom mats, but this one is a cut above the rest. Need to wait and watch on the maintenance and lasting front though..

Unlike so many others, this bath safety mat will actually stick to your tub and remain firmly in place.It is also comfortable to stand on, unlike many others where you can feel each individual suction cup digging into your feet.There was a very mild odor of rubber for several weeks, and speaking as someone sensitive to odors, it wasn't nearly as bad as many other rubber mats and this is likely due to the higher quality rubber that is used.Be sure to remove it from the tub at least every two days so it can fully dry out and prevent mold/mildew from growing.I usually roll it up with the suction cups facing outwards and stand it up in the corner of the tub to air dry between uses.

I suppose "love" is a strong word for a bath mat, so I'm going to go ahead and say that I really, really like this. I bought this about two months ago, and it is holding up great. I previously had a mat that was kind of a woven foam material, and it got dirty/moldy really quickly. I was constantly having to soak it in a bleach solution to keep it clean. After awhile, little pieces of it were drying out and cracking off. It was not a pretty sight. So after checking out reviews of various bath mats on Amazon, I settled on this one, and I'm really happy I did. The suction is really good. You only have to press down lightly for it stick. Once it's on there, it definitely stays put (even with an active little person playing in the tub on top of it on a nightly basis). But the absolute best part is that it stays clean for a long time. I don't know if it's the material (the description says something about it being antimicrobial but doesn't really explain how). Maybe it's the simple design? I don't care. All I know is that mold doesn't seem to grow on/cling to it like my previous one. You can also wash it by throwing it into your washing machine which is super easy and helps ensure that it gets washed on a regular basis. It's a great mat.

I have been using this brand & model in my bath tub for over six or seven years and can't say enough for its design because its suction cups stick on the bath tub floor with a firm grip. When my last mat got worn out I had to buy another brand because this was out of stock. I regret to say that the suction cups on the other brand didn't work well. Unless extra precaution was exercised to press them on for a firm grip, it would slide once a while. I therefore switched back to this Rubbermaid bath mat again the sooner it became available. Save your money and get it right the first time by getting this and ensuring better safety in the bath tub.
