Best citrus juicer I've tried - lots of juice, easy clean-up!
I'm using this wonderful citrus juicer every morning, and I absolutely love it.I've tried other citrus juicers, from manual (old school) hand juicers, to compression-style juicers, to electronic juicers like this one, and this is my favorite so far. (Those other juicers were a chore to use and clean up. This juicer is easy to use, quickly gets the most juice from the fruit, and clean-up is a breeze.)The Hamilton Beach citrus juicer is ready to use as soon as you open the box. Of course, it's always smart to wash anything that will come in contact with food, first. (I ran the cup, etc., through the dishwasher. All of the parts -- except the base with the motor in it -- are dishwasher safe.)Also, when you reassemble it, make sure the black, hinged spout is open. (Mine arrived in a somewhat closed position that slightly restricted juice flow, but once I opened it, it's stayed open since.)The juicing process is exactly what you expect: Cut the fruit, press it onto the juicer (with your hand), and watch the juice flow into the cup. Around the second day, I browsed the included instruction manual (it's in English, French, and Spanish), but it didn't tell me anything I hadn't figured out on my own.The juicer includes two reamers. One nests on top of the other. The larger one is for oranges and grapefruit. The smaller one is for lemons and limes, etc. I've used the larger one for all of my citrus juicing, and it's worked fine, even with the smallest lemons and limes. The suction cup feet hold securely. Even if you try, it's nearly impossible to knock the juicer over once it's in use, and it doesn't "walk" as you juice, either. The juicer has an auto-reverse feature, so you get every last drop of juice out of oranges, grapefruit, lemons, and limes. I'm impressed. I'd bought this to supplement a centrifugal-style juicer (not very good for citrus), and the volume of juice from this Hamilton Beach juicer... wow! It's an economical way to get the most from citrus fruit.Generally, I get about two cups of juice from four oranges.Clean up is simple. The parts are sleek, so they rinse clean with no effort.I tried using the mixer/strainer that's included, and it works well enough, but I like some pulp in my juice. So, I'm not using that. (Besides, the metal strainer catches most seeds and the largest pulp before the juice reaches your cup. For those who want maximum pulp, it's easy to scoop the extra pulp out of the metal strainer, and stir the pulp into your fresh-squeezed juice.)I'm juicing four oranges and an occasional lemon or lime, every morning. I've had no problems with the spout clogging... and absolutely no problems with this juicer, in general. The motor doesn't seem to heat up at all, even with aggressive juicing. I'm expecting this juicer to last a long time. It's very powerful, and gets the job done well and quickly. The clear plastic storage lid makes this juicer look very attractive, so I leave it sitting on my kitchen counter. It's attracted favorable attention from visitors, who say they want a juicer like that, too.The best part...? Fresh citrus juice tastes about a thousand times better than anything you can buy at the grocery store, including "not from concentrate" juices. There's no comparison. Great taste, and it's healthy!Tips:- Valencia oranges are among the sweetest. I find bags of organic Valencia oranges at our local warehouse-style store.- If you want a little extra zing, juice a very small lemon or lime (or half a regular-sized one), and add it to your orange juice.- If your oranges have thick, sturdy skins: After you cut the orange in half, cut it again -- crosswise, as if you were going to cut it in quarters -- but just cut about 1/3 of the way down and then stop. That makes it easier for the orange to open more fully... the juicer motor doesn't have to work as hard.- If you clean your juicer right after you've used it, it rinses sparkling clean, easily. No elbow grease required!

not meant for a long run. Poor engineering design.
I was of the opinion Hamilton beach products will be a good ones. However this juicer failed within less than a year. I have used this only occasionally. The cone stopped working but motor was operating. I just removed the screws and found a nylon gears coupled with the motor and cone shaft. the nylon gear so small and flimsy it broke and no more transmit the power to the cone. I also noticed lot of nylon dust inside the juicer mechanism.. This is a poor engineering design. Not worth the money we pay.

A year in now with this juicer and I love it even more!
So far so good! You read all the reviews on here, for any juicer under $100, and they all sound a bit weak, and trouble-prone, but so far not the Ham Beach 66333!Our citrus in our yard is going off right now, to where I can hardly keep up, but thank goodness the HB 66333 is! I usually juice a mix of grapefruit and oranges daily, and this thing takes it right down the the peel, and then does a great job getting just the right amount of pulp for me (somewhere between no pulp and country-style).The suction cup feet are great! That thing's not movin while you juice! The little flip up spout is a double bonus I've found. Not only does it stop the juice when you flip it up, but it also has a little nub that will punch in and clean the hole that the juice pours through, which will sometimes get filled and stuck with a big pulp chunk. (not often)It's durable where it needs to be it seems. The reamer bits seem like tough plastic and the pulp catch is metal. Easy to clean all parts; takes around 30 seconds to rinse everything off.The juice cup is a nice size and is great how it curves under the spout. Never used the strainer/mixer or the measuring cup and recipes, but maybe one day...I'm a month in with the HB now, so I'll update if I have any more news.UPDATE! (Mar'14)So, I've had this juicer for around a year now, and it's still going strong! I changed my rating to 5 stars for two reasons : 1. the fact that this juicer is still rocking after a year of steady juicing, and 2. the Hamilton Beach customer service...I must juice about 10-20 grapefruit every week, and around 5-10 oranges, all year! (we have prolific citrus trees!)This juicer reams every scrap of juice and pulp from the fruit and does a great job separating the pulp out, while letting enough pulp still come through (at least for my taste)And here's the main reason I'm updating my review... I recently dropped the upper (bigger) reamer down the garbage disposal, while it was on, and chewed it up :( Yeah, genius move right! So, I contact Hamilton Beach to see if I could get a replacement reamer, and then ended up just replacing the whole unit for around $9, a very fair price! But here's the deal, and why I'm writing this update now... They are discontinuing this juicer and don't plan on making more, so they actually sent me one of those pitcher style juicers instead, which doesn't look as nice and is bright yellow, and I didn't want it on my counter. Luckily, the reamer design they use was the same in both juicers, so I was able to take the big reamer off the new unit and tuck that juicer away for later, or taking it to our Mexico house to juice limes and oranges for margaritas! My point being, that this is a great little juicer, and I'd advise scooping it up while it's still available. Can't beat this juicer for the price, and I have to say that the customer service from Hamilton Beach was top notch. I will definitely buy more of their products in the future!Oh, and lastly, I still to this day have never used the juice cup that ships with this unit for making their recipes, but it's a very handy secondary measuring cup to have around :)

Works well
I haven't had this too long but it's worked well for me on the two occasions I've used it thus far. It is pretty loud and it doesn't feel like it's going to last forever, but I mostly want it to juice lemons for recipes and I suspect it'll stand up to that for quite awhile. Cleanup is great and the resulting juice is good. It would be lovely if it came with a third reamer (is that the word?) for grapefruit, though. The small one is sized well for lemons (haven't tried limes) and the large one is probably great for oranges, but it's awkward (not impossible) for grapefruit. Again, though, I bought it for lemons and I'm happy.

powerful, but...
as other reviews, the hole for the pulp is so small, it got stocked all the time. but, it saved me quite a lot energy compare to manual work.... there might be a better and smaller size you can find. Easy to clean.

Easy to use and clean
Motor is still noisy but it is better than other models in similar price range. The parts are easy to remove for cleaning. I have only used it twice and therefore do not know how long the motor will last. I went through two juicers in the last 5 years. One lasted 4 years and the second one lasted only 1 year.

Best juicer we've ever had!
We lived in mexico for 4 years and made fresh orange juice every morning. We went through several juicers and have already worn out our first one back here in Canada, where we continue to juice oranges every morning. This is easily the most efficient and solid juicer we have ever had for an excellent price. Highly recommended!

TERRIBLE
Está súper frágil, cero práctico, no hace bien su función. Incluso, a veces es aun más fácil hacer el trabajo manual que utilizar el exprimidor. Además de que hace un cochinero. Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.
