first time trying this brand but for the price hey why not i thought well turns out to be a very good Lard first thing i did was to make Biscuits with it and they turned out so nice !! soft thick and flavor was very good i also use lard to fry my home made Donuts so i'll update after words but im sure it be good!. also i will be ordering again because it come to my door for the same or cheaper than driving 20 or 30 miles to get it thank You Armour for a good Product and thank you Amazon for a Wonderful service

I use lard to bake Gruyere chive biscuits. Lard was difficult to find in my area, so I turned to Amazon and pleased to find it there. I originally bought it tubs, but now prefer the blocks because it is easier to measure out tablespoons, which I then put on a cookie sheet in the refrigerator. Armour is a trusted brand and my biscuits are a major hit with everyone. BTW: lard's reputation has suffered at the hands of Internet experts. It is not a food to be avoided; just follow Aristotle's advice and seek the mean.

This is what mother used. Crisco has changed their ingredients so I’ m going back to Lard. It’s the best.

This lard ie fat is unusable. It is hydrogenated fats that I thought was illegal to sell, as it was deemed dangerous to consume. I had to throw it away.Better off going to a meat store and getting the real stuff. I would rather give it a O instead of a 1, that is how bad it is.

I use this product for suet that I make. Each 16 oz costs under $2.00 in any store. This is a ridiculous price for 3 pkgs.
