TWSBIECO Transparent Blue Fountain Pen F nib

One of the best fountain pens I have found as a daily writer. I have always carry a fountain pen as my daily pen because I have to document my activities in great detail. Of course, like most of us I run out of ink at the most inappropriate times. But now, I no longer have to stick cartridges in my truck, wife's car, my carry bag, my work desk, coat pockets, or other places around my work and home to ensure I have a ink cartridge ready when I need one. This pen holds a tremendous amount of ink with the ink level clearly shown since the barrel is clear. I ordered my ECO with a fine nib which seems to lean more towards a medium. A smooth writer on a variety of paper forms I complete each day. If you are looking for a workhorse pen you can use everyday I would recommend you give the ECO a try, I think its the best and most cost effective pen around if you write a lot during the day.

I'm new to Fountain Pens. I've read a lot of reviews and watched many YouTube videos trying to find the perfect "beginner's" fountain pen. These ECO's are fantastic. Filling your pen with bottle ink is a beautiful experience. These pens are easy to fill. And the writing is a pure joy: nice, smooth, and effortless. If you want to begin the hobby, there is no better place to start.

Perfect flow, starts immediately every time, buttery smooth nib, even on regular copy paper. I'm extremely pleased with the smoothness of this pen. Very easy to fill and has a huge ink capacity.

I would prefer a snap on cap to the screw on cap that this has I think. I just don't like the extra time when pulling it out for filling out forms. This is my first non-disposable fountain pen so maybe I am not doing it right, but I have had some skipping when writing. I am using it with Waterman Serenity Blue ink and mostly on plain old cheap laser printer paper.I was hoping that the ink would be more visible in the chamber so I could see the ink level and swirling, but the ink sticks to the side and takes about 5-10 seconds of holding it still to have the ink clear from the walls to see inside the chamber.The nib is very smooth though compared to the disposables that I have used.

I love this pen! I add very dark permanent ink and it becomes my ‘go-to’ for all my fine art drawings! Well worth the money!

Was a gift

I own a number of "expensive" pens and this one goes toe to toe with them as far as the flow of ink and ease of use. One of my all time favorite pens.

There isn't a better piston-filled fountain pen out there for $30. The nibs are steel, so it is an "entry level" pen, but the steel nibs are German made and extremely nice writers. I have several of these in various colors on my desk with different color inks, and reach for them regularly as my basic writer. Highly recommended for a basic utility fountain pen.

Great pen, lovely colour, huge ink container and fab to see the ink through the barrel. Love it!

I used lamy and waterman earlier. This nib is somewhere between Lamy fine & medium nibs, the most perfect for my handwriting. I am a doctor & this literally glides even on the thinnest hospital papers. More smooth & looks amazing. Not going back to lamy !

This has turned out to be my favorite of all the fountain pens. The nib is so smooth, it beats a pilot 823. The transparent body with the blue cap looks so beautiful when filled with ink. I have filled it with pilot iroshizuku yama-budo ink, basically dark purple.
