My hair is probably at least 70% gray and the roots do not take color without this product. My hair is dark brown and the roots will be a hot orange mess without it. It has the consistency of water so it will thin the texture of your hair color product somewhat. It could not be easier to use and foolproof in my experience. It is a waste of time for me to color without using this.

I use this every time I color my hair. I have auburn hair (read red highlights) so my gray roots were coming out quite brassy even when I did the roots for 25 min & whole head only 5.(My husband colors my hair 😃)No Gray really helps the dye penetrate deeper into the hair not just the outside layer.That’s what makes the difference.

Unfortunately does not cover gray. So disappointed.

When I added No Gray to my hair coloring product it changed the hair color solution to a little darker shade. I was surprised that it did that. But it didn't affect the hair color shade when I applied it. After rinsing and drying my hair I noticed how much more gray coverage I had especially along the hairline. I find I have to color my roots once a month. I gave this product 4 stars as I still have yet to see if the coverage lasts a little longer.

I added this to my regular bottle of hair dye about 1 hour before I dyed my hair and it works great. Without the product the gray part of my hair is always lighter and doesn't match the rest of the color. But with this product, it matches perfectly! Best thing ever!!

I have resistant grays and thought this might help. It did nothing and I tossed the rest in the trash. It might be great for those without resistant grays. It was easy to use, did not seem harsh

Like the product. . It is much more efficient than gray magic drops. This product works well on the resistant grays, if hair color is left on for 30-40 mins. Gray magic does not work as well, for me. I hope they continue to make this p-roduct and have it in the usual stores where it was available.

Colored my hair, and the gray didn't take at all until I found this stuff! Before No Gray, I looked like some sort of snow leopard after coloring my hair. Now, it is all one color. What more could I want? It does what it is supposed to do.
