Quality paints and extras for a good value!
I've recently started looking into and trying a few different artist-grade/professional watercolors from several manufacturers and eventually found my way to the Mijello Mission Gold product line. They are a fairly new company based in Korea, and their watercolors have made a name for themselves as being very pigmented and light fast while being competitively priced when compared to other artist-grade brands such as W&N, D.S., Schmincke, etc. I chose this particular set because all 24 colors (along with the two free tubes of black and white) are single pigment and have good lightfast ratings; this is great for color mixing, as colors that come premixed out of the tube (not single pigment) may create muddy colors when mixed with other paints. The metal paint tubes come sealed in a box with both Korean and English information included. A card indicating both the colors included (24+2=26) and the additional colors that can be created by mixing those colors (additional 28 colors) is included as well for a total of 54 possible colors! This bundle also comes with a free palette which contains 24 separate wells and two mixing areas; it should be noted that these free palettes can't be purchased elsewhere and are actually the same quality as the airtight mijello palettes which are quite popular in the watercolor world. Great value! Just make sure to cover the filled palette with something to keep dust off of your paints. (i cut a piece of foam board to size and keep it in place with a rubber band when not in use) These are extremely pigmented paints that come in larger tubes which naturally means more paint per dollar, that along with the two free tubes and palette make this a great set not only for those looking to expand their collection like me, but also for those who are starting out and want to begin with something fantastic at a good price (saves paying for a palette if you're a beginner). Cant say enough about these, if your considering them i would definitely recommend giving them a try.

and I have to say that Mission Gold is by far my favorite. Not to say these are the best ever
I've tried just about every watercolor brand out there, and I have to say that Mission Gold is by far my favorite. Not to say these are the best ever, but they're pretty damn good for the value.Pros+Beautiful, gorgeous, vibrant colors. So bright!+Every color in this set is single pigment+A lot of paint for the cost, so long as you buy them in sets and not as individual tubes+Very much artist quality, very little difference between the wet and dry colors+Rewet without any fuss+The packaging is pretty and sturdy and there's ample info on the lightfastness and pigment numbers both in the pamphlet and onlineCon-Unlike the previous PP set, this does not come with the mixing chart nor the free palette (it was just a promo item apparently)-Since it doesn't come with a mixing chart, you'll have to go out of your way to look up the recipes for any convenience colors you might want to use-The best palette for this (one that has enough wells for both the pigments and their mixes) has to be purchased separately and cost around 40 USD-I'm not a massive fan of the earth colors. They're just as vibrant as the rest of the colors, which I think works against the nature of subdued browns and oranges. It makes mixing skin shades tricky.Neutral~Very few if any of these colors granulate. Not an issue at all for me, since my personal style looks best with smooth, untextured colors. Might be for landscape artist and those who love granulation. All in all, this is great product. Recommended! Also, the seller was really great at working with me.

Colors were mostly OK but I am disappointed with the Cerulean Blue and the Green Gold
Colors were mostly OK but I am disappointed with the Cerulean Blue and the Green Gold. I also miss this box not having a true Burnt Sienna. It was still a good deal for the price I paid but I would probably not buy these paints again.

Great value and colors, poor granulation and dispersion—See video review link
This review is on the 24 pure pigment set. I loved the vibrancy of the colors. I also think it's a great value for what you get. If you were to buy each paint separately you would pay $300-$500 depending where you purchase. It took about 2 weeks to receive order from Korea, but arrived several weeks before the estimated delivery date. The downside to these paints is that they do not granulate, and don't disperse in water very well. I added epsom salts to help with granulation, but you have to work them with your brush to get them to blend.I did a video review on Youtube if you are interested. Search for Shawn Warren Fine Art.

Vibrant and beautiful colors, definitely pro artist quality
What a treat these colors are. Heavy on the red shades, but they are pure pigment so you can mix till the cows come home. Vibrant and beautiful colors, definitely pro artist quality. A little goes a long way. I love them. Value is there for you too..It would cost a huge amount more to buy the colors individually, like hundreds of dollars more. I love them.
