RUDDINGS WOOD Wooden Garden Tan Arch - Wood Arbour Pergola Plant Support

I bought two of these arches and have to say that I am very pleased with them. They appear to be quite sturdy and were easy to put together. The only issue I have us that I only received one set of the advertised metal spikes instead of two. I have contacted the company and await a response from them. However the reviews on the Trust pilot website do not necessarily bode well for a quick and speedy response or outcome, only time will tell.

This was the second arch I have bought, the first being from Woodside. They look similar but a couple of key differences. This was easier to put together just connecting the trellis sections whereas with the Woodside unit you have to put the trellis into the vertical posts before connecting to the arch. Where the Woodside unit wins is that it has a metal support at the top of the arch secured to the wood. Once complete we moved the Woodside arch into place without a problem. However when we moved this arch the top section cracked on one side, at the point where the metal would have provided support.Once in place the arch is fine but you do need to be careful when moving it into place or risk the same damage.

I read the reviews for this product and although they were not great, I was pleasantly surprised.Colour was good no missing or broken piece.Overall, very satisfied.

One of the wooden struts was incorrect, instead of 4 each of 2 designs we received 5 of 1 and 3 of the other. however they were the same lengths so were able to be adaptedCannot attach photo at this time as arch is not in place yet......Great service ....Thank you

Easy to assemble, looks good, fairly sturdy

The wood wasn’t very strong and one piece was broken which I had to use wood glow !
