Crazy Rich Asians [Blu-ray] [2018]

Feel good film for a cosy night in.

I love Crazy Rich Asians, it’s my “go to” movie when I need to be uplifted. I’m a sucker for romance.

Love this, very clever writing, good acting throughout.

Good rom com movie for Friday or Saturday night with a bowl of popcorn and a bunch of friends. Very funny with serious undertones.

Fantastic movie easy watch light hearted.Just a nice simple movie.

This is must have.A bit of romance, great fashion world, funny to watch and not boring at all as I have seen it twice.

I lived in Singapore for several years and my wife is also Asian but I think that this added to my enjoyment of this movie. I realise it was exaggerated and fun but I could see a lot of truth in many parts, there are a lot of very clever rich people in Asia and they may often be underestimated or misunderstood by us in the West. Its very well acted and I thought Michelle Yeoh especially was very good. Sort of movie I will watch more than once

Its quite awesome to see all this Singaporean bling in 4k ultra, and it includes an amazing sequence on the only Michelin starred street food in the world. The story is quite sweet, and has the added attractions of Michelle Yeoh, and Gemma Chan to increase the watchable quotient. Although the heroine is pretty impressive and believable, the chap is just a bit tailors dummy. There should be a prize of a trip to Singapore for best review or something.

Une comédie vraiment sympa, un bon moment de détente à passer seul ou avec ceux qu'on aime :)

Una película divertida, sin pretensiones. Buena adaptación del libro aunque, por supuesto, se pierden muchos detalles y se creó una que otra escena (que no están en el libro) para dar fluidez a la historia. Bonitos paisajes, tanto urbanos como naturales.

"Crazy Rich Asians" war für mich eins der Lesehighlight der letzten Zeit, weswegen ich natürlich neugierig war, wie des filmerisch umgesetzt worden ist.Und was ich gesehen habe hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das die Umsetzung nicht eins-zu-eins vonstatten geht ist dabei klar, aber dem Filmteam ist es hervorragend gelungen die wichtigsten Aspekte des Buches im Film darzustellen und zu vermitteln.Allein das Setting des Films ist das Sehen wert, und Singapur eine Stadt der Superlative, die zum staunen einlädt.Die Schauspieler haben ihre Charakteren gekonnt und überzeugent in Szene gesetzt. Wobei mein persönliches Highlight Peik Lin war, die einfach herrlich schräg und etwas überdreht daherkam.Ein sehr schöner Film, der mich genau wie zuvor schon das Buch, für sich einnehmen konnte. Hätte nichts dagegen, wenn auch die restlichen Teile der Reihe verfilm würden.
