Very good compared to others we reviewed. Happy with this overall.
Works well with our standard bowl toilet. The front lock mechanism could be a little better by changing the shape so it would try to lock under the front lip of the toilet bowl, but while your weight is on the seat, it will not slide at all. After reading all the reviews of seats that slid off while trying to sit down, I was very concerned. This one isn't too bad. Hole size is small but not unusable. It is working for us with a total hip replacement surgery. I wish someone made one of these with decent handles but from what I could find on this site, there were no seats that allows the handles to adjust outward enough to ensure the hip would not rub on the handles on the way down so we opted for this one. Along with a walker, this will work if you have enough upper body strength. If not, you may want to consider adding grab bars on the wall next to the toilet as they are far more stable than the walker would be.

Very Sturdy & Easy To Use! Maybe Not Built For Larger People. Check Measurements First!
This is a great riser! It’s very sturdy. Easy to put on and take off! You don’t have to take your original toilet seat or lid off. Just lift up both lid and seat and place it on the bowl. Use knob on riser to snug down tight on your toilet. I wouldn’t suggest this if your your on the larger side, as it’s not real wide.Look at the width in the description and then decide. It’s plenty big for me but might not be for some. I wouldn’t want you to have to re-order!

Does not fit the hips of a size 12 dress lady
I loved the way it looks but it doesn’t fit into the lip of the toilet bowl as advertised. The worst part about it, is that I am not heavy. I wear a size dress and have slim hips. However they are a tight fit between both sides of the toilet. Every time it is used, the walls of this item have to be cleaned. It’s a very big disappointment.

Needed
The height is greatFlaw is that when a man sits on it to pee. The pee frequently comes out between the seat and this product which means you gave to clean the floor with each use

Greatest invention since the toilet.
This elevated toilet seat took less than 1 minute to install. No tools. Very simple. The price was good and the shipping from the seller was very prompt. A very well-made, sturdy elevated seat. This one set the standard for all others.

Nice, but a minor change would make it a 5 star product
Nice raised seat for my disabled daughter. I wish the front "lock" had a molded lip like the back of the seat has. The molded lip fits under the rim of the toilet bowl. The "lock" is a flat foam rubber covered plastic piece attached to a large plastic screw. Problem #1: the foam rubber can't really grip the pocelain rim of the toiletbowl. Problem #2: the more you tighten the screw, the more the "lock" deforms and rides up on the rim of the toilet bowl. If you can resist the urge to tighten the heck out of it and just tighten so it has a little grip, then it's a very good raised seat.

Look how easy it was
I bought this riser for my grandmother she’s 92 she says it’s easier for her to get on and off the toilet but if she had to clean this product it would be very difficult for her to take the unit off it’s big bulky somewhat heavy to lift for herself but if Someone came in clean it for her that was younger and stronger I think they would be just fineIt was easy to install just like the directions stated everything went together perfectly it was boxed very well if I had to order for another elderly person I would do to how easy it was to install

Fits well ad stdy - but not very wide when handles are connected - must sit all the way back
When women use the toilet, legs must go wide. When the handles are connected, there is not much room to do this. So, I took off the handles, nice to be able to remove them. Also, if you do not sit back far enough on the seat, urine can make a mess. Overall, I was happy with it because my toilet is next to the bathtub and a wall, so I was able to use that to help me stand up with my walker. So if I knew this going into it, it would have been much easier, but overall, I like the product.
